Make sure you are comfortably seated in a quiet,

Peaceful space where you won't be disturbed for the next 15 minutes or so.

Relax into your posture,

Give yourself permission to just be.

Close your eyes.

Bring your awareness to your breath as you take slow,

Full breaths.

Relaxing your body fully into the solid support beneath you.

Taking a moment to settle into presence and relaxing every part of your being.

Now bring to your awareness the issue which you wish to transform or heal.

Just for a moment connect fully with the feelings or emotions that this unresolved issue brings up in you.

Feel what it feels like to be in the situation.

Allow the dominant feeling triggered by this issue to get stronger now.

Give yourself permission to feel it fully,

Knowing that it is only temporary.

Notice where in your body you feel this feeling.

What are the physical sensations?

Allow your imagination to flow freely.

Even if it feels like you're making it up,

It's totally okay.

Simply allow and notice.

Imagine now this feeling having a colour.

What colour might it be?

Imagine this colour all around you.

Breathe it in as you allow yourself to sink further into this feeling.

And if this feeling had its own form,

What shape and texture does it have?

Is it solid?

Hard?

Is it maybe soft?

Maybe like jelly?

Trust whatever your imagination reveals to you.

There's no right or wrong.

If nothing is revealed,

That's perfectly okay.

Just give yourself permission to feel this feeling as fully as you can.

Now let this feeling know that you are with it completely.

Let the feeling know that it is valid,

That you care about it and that you are fully open to receiving it.

You want to know what it has to say.

Imagine that this feeling could speak to you.

What does it want to say?

I am now going to invite you to go back in time.

Just imagine yourself getting younger,

Slowly going back in time,

Back through the years,

Back to the first time you remember hearing those words or feeling this feeling.

Back into your childhood,

Don't chase the answer mentally,

Stay with the feeling and simply relax into it.

Allow your being to offer it up and trust whatever comes up.

Trust the first memory that comes up for you.

Now allow the memory to become clear.

Experience it in whichever way it comes up for you.

Notice how young you might be.

Observe your surroundings.

Notice who is there with you.

As this younger version of yourself,

Take a moment to re-experience this memory and the emotions it brings up in you,

Knowing that you are safe and that it is only a memory.

Now,

I want to invite you to bring in the current adult you into this memory to offer support to this younger version of yourself.

Imagine yourself being there in the experience with this younger you,

Offering your protection and supports,

You now guide this younger you to a safe place away from this experience.

Embrace this younger you or connect with them compassionately in whichever way feels right.

Let them know that it is okay to feel the way they do and that they have every right to do so.

Comfort them and show them affection,

Allowing them to fully feel the emotions of the experience.

Let them know that it is okay.

If you feel in any way unable to offer this support,

Invite a guardian angel or supportive ancestor,

Any loving being of light that is able to provide this support to your younger self.

Now,

Let the younger you know that you have survived.

You are strong and you have gained wisdom over the years.

Let them know that you have come to offer the support that wasn't there when it was needed.

Let this younger you know that you will never abandon them and that you will always be there to protect and care for them.

From this older,

Wiser,

Stronger self,

Help this younger you to understand the truth of what they experienced.

Maybe they need to be assured that it wasn't their fault or that it wasn't really about them or that whoever did what they did was reacting from their own emotional wounding.

Whoever it may be,

Help the younger you to understand what was really going on.

Now,

Ask the younger you,

What is your need?

What is your need?

Feel free to offer any suggestions and trust the younger you to know what he or she wants or needs.

Let them know that you have come to offer the support that wasn't there when it was needed.

Invite the younger you to return back with you to the present moment,

Assuring them that you will keep them safe.

If they choose to stay,

Ask them what else you can do to support and reassure them that it is safe to come with you.

Return now with this younger you.

Imagine the two of you returning to the safety of your own private magical garden.

Imagine the lush green grass beneath your feet,

The tall trees overhead,

The birds singing from the branches,

Butterflies fluttering between the beautiful flowers.

Standing in the center of this magical private garden with the younger you,

Imagine that in your left hand you're holding a yellow balloon.

This balloon contains the entire memory of the experience your younger you has just left behind.

Imagine the balloon containing the memory to the younger you and invite them to pop the balloon,

Shrinking the entire experience away completely.

You now notice a beautiful water fountain in the garden,

Flowing with crystal clear healing waters.

Walk over to the fountain with your younger you.

You both step into the fountain.

Feel the healing qualities of the water as it washes over your skin.

Now offer a cleansing to the younger you,

Cleansing them with the healing waters of the fountain,

The healing waters of Mother Earth,

Washing away all of the residual energies of the past.

Step out of the fountain and feel the warmth of the sun on your skin as you wrap yourselves in soft white warm robes.

Now it's time to integrate this younger you,

To welcome them back home where they truly belong.

Imagine their energy as a white light completely merging into you,

Into your own white light,

Becoming one.

Place your left hand over your heart and breathe three slow full breaths to symbolize and acknowledge this reunion and integration.

Welcome the younger you back home.

Now return fully to your body and the space that you occupy in the here and now.

Simply rub your thumb across your fingers,

Wiggle your toes and when you are ready you can gently open your eyes.

Place your hand over your heart once more and take another three slow full breaths,

Breathing into your heart,

Once again acknowledging the presence of this younger version of you that has come back with you to experience the richness and fullness of life with you,

Enjoying all that life has to offer.
