Make yourself comfortable.
Close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in,
Feel the ribcage expand.
On the exhale,
Release.
On your next inhale,
Take the breath even further down into the belly.
Feel the entire belly expand.
And on the exhale,
Release.
Continue to breathe deeply and slowly as in your mind's eye,
You see something that you are truly grateful for.
Maybe it's a loved one.
Maybe it's your child,
Your parent,
Or your beloved.
Maybe it's a memory of an event.
Whatever brings a smile to your face or a tear to your eye,
When you cast your attention and awareness onto this person,
Place,
Or thing,
See that now.
And engage as many senses as possible.
What do you see?
What do you hear?
What do you smell?
What feelings does this object of your gratitude bring with it now?
And as you continue to breathe deeply and slowly.
And as you see,
Hear,
Smell,
And touch this person,
Place,
Or thing,
Hold it close.
Hold it close to your heart.
And as you continue to hold this object of your gratitude close to your heart,
I want you to begin to milk every drop of joy that you can from it.
See this joy radiating outwardly from your heart center like a bright and radiant light.
See this light imbuing every cell of your body with light,
And let this light bring with it an immense sense of joy,
Happiness,
Bliss,
And gratitude.
As the cells of your body take on this radiance,
The radiant joy and bliss,
See yourself filling up,
Becoming lighter and lighter,
Becoming more illuminated with every cell filling itself up with joy,
Becoming more alive,
Becoming more present.
Sit with this joy now.
Sit with your bliss.
Sit in this gratitude.
Stay with this joy.
Stay with this joy.
Sit with this joy.
And now bring your attention and your awareness back into your body and keeping this internal flow of gratitude that you found in this moment with you.
Take a deep breath in and hold it for just a moment.
And then release.
Take a deep breath in,
Hold it,
And release.
And then with one final deep breath in,
We will seal this joy,
This gratitude,
And this bliss inside of our hearts,
Inside of our spirit,
Inside of our mind as we hold it for just a moment.
And release.
And when you feel ready,
You can open your eyes to the room.
Namaste.
