Dear God,
As I come before you now,
My heart is full of hope.
I have witnessed
your miraculous power at work
in my life and
the lives of others so many times
before.
When all
seemed lost,
You
provided a way.
Even
in defying all earthly logic
and reason,
You showed
that with you all things
are possible.
Today I come to ask
once again for your miraculous
touch.
The situation
before me seems insurmountable.
The odds stack
too high against success
or good resolution.
But I know that you specialize
in taking impossible scenarios
and turning them into your
masterpieces of grace.
All you ask of me is
an open and willing heart,
A seed of faith no larger
than a mustard seed,
And you promise that nothing
will be impossible.
Today
I choose to believe,
God,
Even when my head says
give up or proceed with extreme
caution.
I know
that is where you meet us,
On the edge of our own
understanding,
Right at the
threshold of sheer impossibility
and wonder.
So
grow my small seed of faith
into a mighty tree of trust
in who you are.
Let me cling to your faithfulness
in times past as proof
that you can do it again.
Renew my hope
that with you,
Every
door closed will swing
wide open.
I lift up the very real
concerns that weigh me down.
I offer up the obstacles,
The challenges,
Even the desires
of my heart that seem out of reach.
Take them and do
with them what only you can do.
Work in ways beyond
what any plan of mine could achieve.
Turn difficult
seasons into triumphs of
joy and release.
Surprise me with your creativity
and might.
Prove the
skeptics and naysayers wrong
with your miraculous hand at work.
Let hope
rise up in me where doubt
tried to take root.
Give me eyes to see unfolding
signs of your goodness,
Your provision,
Your supernatural
involvement.
When it seems all is still
and nothing has changed,
Remind me that you
are God and your timing
alone is perfect.
You specialize
in eleventh hour miracles
and last second saves.
Help me hold on until
the full revelation of your
power comes to pass.

You are a God of impossible chances
made possible,
Of dreams reborn through your
tangible miracles.
