Welcome to this gratitude meditation.
Find a comfortable position.
And we'll begin.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
Filling your lungs with air.
And then let it out with a sigh.
Another deep breath in through the nose.
And out through the mouth.
And one final deep breath in.
And out.
Arriving here in this present moment.
And allowing this time.
To be a time for you.
To tune in.
The many things you have to be grateful for.
Beginning with Mother Earth.
The earth that you're held by in this moment.
The gravity.
That keeps you stable.
To the beauty that we can find all around us.
When we just take a moment to look.
Thank you.
To the oceans and the mountains.
To the forests and the prairies.
The streams,
Rivers,
And lakes.
Thank you.
And when we look up,
No matter where we are,
For the sky.
The clouds,
The sun.
How lucky we are.
To be able to find these moments where nature touches us everywhere.
Thank you.
Allowing gratitude.
For the beauty of this earth.
To fill you up.
From the tip of your toes.
All the way up to the top of your head.
Now.
Just taking a moment of gratitude.
For your body.
For your lungs.
Just know.
To breathe in.
And breathe out.
To your heart.
That beats effortlessly.
Pumping blood throughout your body.
Thank you.
Now doing your own scan.
From your head to your toes.
And just noticing the many,
Many things you have to be grateful for.
What a miracle,
The way our bodies carry us through life.
Thank you.
And finally,
A moment of gratitude for our ability to feel love.
To give love.
To receive love.
What a gift.
Allowing your heart.
To begin to fill.
With love.
Love for the people in your life who have poured into you.
Who have supported you.
On your path.
And is taking a moment of gratitude.
For these people and also for the beauty that is our ability to feel love.
Allow that feeling to fill your body.
Notice how it feels.
Thank you.
Now just.
Beginning to deepen your breath.
The in-breath and the out-breath.
As you breathe in,
Soaking in these feelings of gratitude.
As you wiggle your fingers and your toes and come back into this moment.
Just allowing this to carry you through your day.
