Begin by finding a position in which you can relax.

Whether lying down or sitting comfortably with your spine nice and long.

Take a few moments to get any fidgets and little movements out of your system.

Once you've settled in,

Begin to notice your breath.

How deep is it?

Can you go deeper?

How slow is it?

Can you go slower?

Inhale and exhale through your nose.

Now,

With each inhale,

Expand the belly gently.

And with each exhale,

Contract the belly gently.

As your navel returns towards your spine.

Continue breathing in this way.

Inhale,

Expand.

Exhale,

Release.

Exhale,

Release.

Begin to imagine your future self.

You have everything you could possibly wish for in this present moment.

Your dream job,

Relationship,

Family,

Health,

And so on.

Visualize this amazing life you have created.

See yourself with the object of your deepest desires.

Then,

Ask yourself,

Now what?

You have accomplished that one thing you've yearned for for so long.

But now what?

What are your new goals and plans?

Imagine your future self telling you that not much has changed in terms of satisfaction from the moment you reached your objective.

He or she is telling you that the feeling of fulfillment was never based on your external circumstances,

But rather on your own internal state,

Which you are capable of regulating.

Visualize this conversation with your future self now.

Exhale,

Expand.

Exhale,

Release.

Exhale,

Release.

Life is a constant stream of longing for something,

Acquiring it,

And moving on to the next thing to want.

What makes what you're wanting so tantalizing is often simply the not having of it.

And once you've reached that goal,

All of the yearning disappears.

Usually,

We don't want what we already have.

Once you realize this,

It is a lot easier to settle into the present and find fulfillment in your current situation,

Knowing that even once you do achieve success,

It is always your perspective that makes something bliss or misery.

Now visualize a twine string.

This string is wound tightly around two clouds.

One cloud is your happiness.

The other cloud is your dream.

See this knot that you used to tie the two tightly together.

Now inhale,

Knowing that your dreams will come true.

And exhale,

And imagine either untying the knot or taking a sharp pair of scissors and cutting the string directly.

See the ribbon unraveling,

The string disintegrating.

Inhale the confidence of your dreams coming true.

Exhale,

Knowing that your happiness does not depend on this.

Those are now two separate clouds,

Independent but both attainable by you.

Peace and joy belong to you now,

Unconditionally.

You are welcome to sit or lay here for as long as you need to absorb all of this knowledge.

I thank you for joining me on this journey of unconditional joy.

Namaste.
