The Forehead Touch: A Simple Anchor Back To Yourself
by Tomasz
A short exercise for noticing how your body and mind respond to stress. You sit where you are, take a slow breath, and point one index finger to the middle of your forehead. You notice what changes in your body, such as the weight of your arm, the pressure, the temperature and the position of your spine, then turn your attention to your mind and to the emotion that comes up, whether shame, anger, joy or curiosity. Nothing needs to change, you simply observe. It closes with a deep breath and relaxing your hands. This content is educational and is not a substitute for one to one professional care.
