Take a moment and find your center.

Watch your breath as it flows in and out.

In and out.

In and out.

Spend some time here,

Gently seeking,

Quietly considering.

Feel all the ways your body is drawn toward the earth.

Feel your shoulders relax.

Feel your arms lose their tension.

And feel as though the earth herself supports your weight.

Now from this place of awareness of your physicality,

Let your vision eye open.

Let it turn inward upon you and let it sit within your source of light.

However your eye travels within you,

Let it find its way,

Seeking this light as if pulled by gravity.

Let the light create pathways for your eye to follow.

Seek along,

Reaching out for that center within,

The source of your light.

Trust yourself.

Your inner light cannot steer you wrong,

Nor can it take you to dark places.

This light is good and comforting.

Ahead now,

See as the light gathers at your center.

Perhaps it draws you around the corner.

Perhaps it opens into a brighter chamber.

Perhaps it awaits you where you always knew it would be.

But here,

Where this light gathers,

Where it glows bright and seems to stream out and fill the world with your light,

This is your center.

Here you find calm.

Here you find connection.

Here you find love.

Spend a moment now to simply experience what it is like in this place.

If you can find your center,

You can always orient yourself.

It is your compass,

Your guide,

Your North Star.

This light comes from within you to guide you.

When you seek your center,

When you seek calm in the storm,

When you seek a place from which you can make sense of the world,

You can always return here.

Your center travels with you.

Your center belongs to you.

You are always mere breaths away from this space.

You can always find the light.

Now come,

Gather up the light and the connection.

Draw it to yourself and step toward and then into the light at the center.

As you do,

Feel that you are one with this calm space.

And when you are ready,

Let the light return you to your physical body.

Let it permeate you,

Hold you at its center,

And seat you once again into yourself.

Feel your body once more.

Feel the power of the earth.

Feel the relaxation of your arms and shoulders.

Feel your breath once more as it flows in and out of your body.

And here,

Returned as you are,

Begin to move your fingers and toes.

Seat yourself fully in your body and remember the connection.

Remember the calm.

It is here with you,

As it has always been a part of you.
