Well,

Hello everyone.

My name is Joseph Anderson.

And today I will be walking you through a guided meditation.

I want you to imagine that you're in a large church.

And as you're standing in the back of this large church,

You look around and notice many friends and family and people that have been very dear to you in your life.

As you become more and more curious of what the celebration is that everybody's gotten together for,

You notice there's a casket in the front of the room.

And as you walk closer and closer to the casket,

You notice that it's actually your funeral.

And as soon as you notice that it's your funeral,

It's already ending.

And you see yourself being whisked up through a great light.

And you find yourself at the pearly gates of heaven,

Greeted by St.

Peter himself with a jolly smile that's reminiscent of Santa Claus.

As St.

Peter checks you into heaven,

He assigns a few angels to you to be your tour guides for heaven.

And as they walk you around and as they show you all kinds of different wonderful things,

You notice that there's one particular room that they don't take you into.

They continue to glide past,

Almost as if they don't want to go in there.

And as the angels go off by themselves,

You kind of get curious.

You're wondering about what could be in that room.

And you sit there and you weigh your options back and forth of going in the room and possibly getting kicked out of heaven or something worse.

And you decide,

I'll just ask him what's in there and if I have permission to go in.

And as you make this decision,

You notice your tour guide angels are coming back.

And so finally you ask them,

What is that place?

And the angels get very solemn and somber and say,

We can't keep you out of there,

But we recommend that you don't go in there.

And the second the angels are out of your sight,

You rush to the door.

And it's a beautiful door.

It's actually your favorite color of door.

And you turn the knob and you open it and you go in and slowly shut the door behind you.

And as you turn around,

You're greeted with a corridor covered in pictures.

As you look closer,

You notice the pictures closest to the door are of you as a baby.

You see yourself all wrapped up in your favorite childhood blanket.

You see yourself playing with your favorite toy.

You see yourself being held by your mother and father.

As you continue forward in the hallway,

You notice that the pictures get older.

You see yourself as a child.

And all the memories that you experienced that were important to you.

As you move down the hall,

You see yourself growing up.

And the wonderful memories that you had and also some of the harder memories that you have.

As you walk down this corridor,

Your life essentially is being flashed before your eyes.

You see the choices that you made in your 20s.

Whether you ended up marrying the person of your dreams or whether you didn't.

You see yourself in your career.

You see yourself with your family or those friends that you loved.

And finally,

At the very end of the corridor,

You see that same scene of your funeral of people around you that loved you.

But to your surprise,

At the end of this corridor,

You can see through a glass door that there's a circular room.

And it too has tons of pictures inside.

As you grasp the glass door,

Wondering where this adventure could lead,

You open it.

And inside you see all kinds of memories from your life.

Houses that you visited,

Houses that you lived in,

Cars that you drove.

And you were so wrapped up in what you saw in that corridor before.

It takes you a while to realize none of these pictures ever happened in your life.

These are things that you always thought about doing,

But you never did.

That dream vacation that you wanted to go on that you never went.

That business that you wanted to start,

But never took the steps.

That girl or guy that you really wanted to ask out that you never did.

As you look around this room,

You notice some of the most amazing and incredible memories that could have been a part of your life.

You see a picture of you doing the thing that you wanted to do the most,

That you even felt guided and directed in your life to do.

With a huge smile on your face in the picture,

You see yourself in front of your dream home.

You see yourself in front of your dream car.

You see yourself in front of countless different vacation spots.

And finally you can't take any more of it because these things never happened to you.

And you rush outside and you see the angels coming back.

And you tell them,

I know you told me not to go in there,

But I did anyways.

What is that circular room?

The end of the corridor and the angels get really solemn and say,

That is the life that you were meant to have while you were on the earth,

But you never believed you could have it.

And nearly in tears in this moment,

You rush back into that room,

Rush past that corridor of your actual life,

Into that circular room of possibilities that you never entertained,

That you never went after.

And you look around the room at some of the ones that would have made the biggest difference in your life.

And you notice a bench in the middle of this room and absolutely devastated that you didn't even try to go do some of these things.

You collapse on the bench and you put your head in your arms and you sob,

Thinking of the life that you might have lived.

And you start saying,

If I could only go back,

If I could only go back,

If I could only go back,

If I could just have a few more days left on earth,

I would do it differently.

And suddenly you notice the room disappear.

You notice yourself coming through a giant white light and you notice yourself back in the exact same place that you were in this very moment.

Journey today,

Feel the chair beneath you or the floor beneath you and realize that you are still here.

You are still on this earth.

And as you open your eyes,

I want you to sense a greater possibility than you have ever sensed in your life before.

Your life is not yet over.

And no matter what you have done till this point,

This is the present moment.

This is all that you can do anything about.

There are dreams that some of us have lost.

There are dreams that some of us may never get back.

Regardless of that,

In this moment,

You control your life.

What were the possibilities that you saw in that circular room that hit you the most in the heart?

What were those things and places that you would have loved to travel and things you would have loved to do?

This is your moment.

This is the now.

Whether you want to start a business,

Whether you want to write a book,

Whether you want to go after the person of your dreams or the car of your dreams or the house of your dreams or whether you simply want to enjoy the present moment more,

I would invite you to go forward and start taking steps in the direction of those things that you saw in that circular room of possibility.

As you start seeing those steps,

More and more will unfold in your life.

One day,

If you continue to follow those steps,

You will look around and you will be amazed at the life that you have created by simply taking tiny steps one after the other.

My hope is for you to go and do whatever you have felt guided to do today.
