The harmonics once the sound is struck, are heard one by one in the resonance which prolongs the sound and follows one another in a natural order, always the same. This succession served to constitute the musical material. An innocent ear, unconditioned for our polyphonic and tempered music, perceives them. Indeed, overtone singing is an ancestral practice that the ancients seem to have widely used for centuries.
