Cosmic Home
Are we insignificant? The view of man as it is given to us by science today is not very engaging. We would be an epiphenomenon at best, an unimportant event in the life cycle of the cosmos, which will disappear as quickly as it appeared, probably leaving no trace. Since Copernicus, we have known that the earth is not at the center of the universe. With Darwin, we know that we probably appeared by accident, a pure product of luck and environmental conditions.
