Hello and welcome to a guided meditation for releasing the fixed mindset.
Find a comfortable position.
Sit or lie down.
Let your hands rest naturally and allow your eyes to close if that feels okay.
Let's begin by taking a slow breath in through your nose.
And gently releasing.
Through your mouth.
Again,
Inhale deeply.
And release.
Let your breathing settle into a natural rhythm.
Now bring your awareness inward.
Notice any tension in your body.
Your jaw,
Your chest,
Your shoulders.
No need to change anything,
Just observe it.
Now gently bring to mind a situation where you felt stuck.
Maybe you thought like.
I'm not good at this or.
I'll never improve.
Don't push it away,
Just notice it.
Where do you feel that belief in your body?
Is it heavy?
Tight.
Stay with it for a moment.
Now imagine that thought is not a fact.
But a story of mine has practiced telling.
Silently say to yourself,
This is a thought.
Not a truth.
Take a breath in.
And as you exhale,
Imagine creating a little space between you and that belief.
Now gently introduce a new perspective.
What if I could grow here?
What if this is something I can learn?
You don't have to force yourself to believe it.
Just let the possibility exist.
Picture your mind like a path in a forest.
The fixed mindset is a well-worn trail,
Easy to follow but limiting.
Now imagine stepping off that trail into fresh ground.
It may feel uncertain,
But it's open and expandable.
With each breath,
Repeat silently.
I am allowed to learn.
I am allowed to change.
Effort is not failure,
It is growth.
Let these words settle without pressure.
Now bring your attention back to your breath.
Inhale.
And exhale slowly.
Notice your body again.
Notice any shifts,
No matter how small.
And when you're ready,
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes and open your eyes.
And remember,
Whenever you're feeling stuck,
You can always come back to this meditation.
Thank you and have a wonderful day.
