Voices Of The Land - Musical Meditation

Another track from the same album was published under the title "Bridge". This musical meditation was inspired by the Maori tradition, where, according to one movie I watched, certain musicians would play the shape of the land. Looking to the distant horizon, they would copy the shape of the mountains or land while playing their instrument. You'll hear the sounds of nature and a solo shakuhachi flute.

This piece is wonderful. I believe I recognize many of the bird songs, one of my favorites being predominant (is that a bobolink?) For other listeners, be sure to listen with headphones to fully appreciate the depth and beauty of this piece.
