Hello and welcome to this meditation on enhancing your strength as a connector.

This meta meditation is designed to help you connect deeply with yourself,

With others,

And with the world.

So let's begin by settling in to a comfortable position,

Seated or lying down.

Please adopt a straight yet relaxed posture.

When you're ready,

Invite your eyes to close gently or if you prefer,

Let your gaze fall softly downwards.

Let your hands rest comfortably.

First,

Let's tune in to our breathing.

Take a full deep breath in and slowly release it,

Letting go of any tension or tightness you may be feeling.

I invite you now to envision a space that is serene and safe for you.

Perhaps it's a sunlit grove or a quiet beach,

Perhaps even a cozy corner of your home,

In a space where you feel completely at ease,

Wholly yourself.

And from this place of peace,

Begin to feel a warmth growing in the center of your chest,

Around the area of your heart.

This warmth emanates a radiant golden light,

Which is the essence of loving kindness that resides within.

Gently turn this tender light inward,

Directing this energy towards yourself and repeat these words silently,

With intention,

After me.

May I be happy.

May I be healthy.

May I be safe.

May I live with ease.

Embrace these intentions with kindness and warmth,

Giving yourself the gift of compassion.

Now bring to mind the image of someone you love or care about deeply.

Someone where the energy flows freely.

See them as clearly as you can in your mind and extend that same light of kindness towards them.

Repeating,

May you be happy.

May you be healthy.

May you be safe.

May you live with ease.

Feel the joy of this connection,

The natural flow of the connector's strength as it reaches out to a loved one.

And now let's broaden our circle.

I want you to think of an acquaintance or a stranger,

Someone neutral in your life and send your light of loving kindness to them equally.

Repeating the phrases,

May you be happy.

May you be healthy.

May you be safe.

May you live with ease.

Notice the expansiveness of your connector ability as you include more people in your sphere of compassion.

Sometimes we face challenges in our relationships.

So here I'd like you to bring to mind someone with whom you have difficulties.

As a connector,

Harness your capacity for grace and send them your benevolent thoughts.

May you be happy.

May you be healthy.

May you be safe.

May you live with ease.

This is the power of the connector at work,

Building bridges of understanding through meta.

And now expand your mind and your heart,

Generating meta for all beings near and far,

Known and unknown.

Let your golden light of loving kindness radiate without boundaries.

May all beings be happy.

May all beings be healthy.

May all beings be safe.

May all beings live with ease.

Feel a profound sense of interconnection,

Your compassion linking you heart to heart with all life.

As we come to the end of our meditation,

Begin to bring your awareness back to the present moment,

To the room around you.

Take a few deep breaths and when you're ready,

Introduce gentle movement back into your body.

Open your eyes slowly,

Carrying with you the peace and the potent connective energy from our practice.
