Bye Eda Close your eyes,
Soften your gaze,
Turn your attention inward.
Bringing your mind.
To the nostrils and just notice the breath flowing in and out of the nostrils without needing to change it.
You might sense the air.
Entering the nostrils as cool.
Notice that it's warmer as it exits the nostrils.
Just a few rounds here.
You'll notice that as you just simply draw your attention to the breath that it naturally starts to Settle down and smooth out.
Again you're not shaping the breath,
You're just noticing what's present here for you and depending on what the practice is and the reflections brought up for you,
The breath might be a little uneven.
A little short.
All along.
All smooth,
Just noticing what's here.
Noticing the length of the breath,
Noticing the duration of it as it travels through the nostrils into the nasopharynx area.
And as you do this,
You might notice that there is a subtle presence riding on the breath.
This vayu,
This prana.
This intelligence,
This life force that is Gently animating the breath and riding on it.
And as you get more attentive to this,
You'll notice that Indeed it rides on the breath and it can travel up the nostrils and I invite you to just notice it accumulates on the inhale and settle into the brain center.
This midbrain area.
Noticing light,
Noticing presence.
Riding on the breath,
Traveling up the nose and settling into this mid-brain center,
Somewhere between your temples and behind your eyebrows.
And if your mind wanders.
Just gently bring it back to your breath,
Back to this sense of building prana,
Light,
Awareness.
In this area of the brain.
And know that any distracted thoughts are indeed part of the practice.
And so by gently bringing yourself back,
You can continue.
Noticing the breath traveling evenly through both the left and the right nostril.
Balances the brain centers creating this Restive and reflective.
State of mind.
As you breathe in the light gathers accumulates in the midbrain center And as you breathe out,
It settles.
It's as if all four walls of your head,
The forehead,
The sides of the head,
The back of the head,
And the top of the head,
As if all four walls are windows and light pours in from all directions.
Accumulating,
Building presence in this mid-brain center,
The center of intuition,
Connection to this wider field of knowing.
It is always there,
Always present,
Always informing us.
These folds of light.
These sheets of light as if.
.
.
This light that is internal this vibration settling in the main midbrain and now I invite you to have the intention to Let it travel down the spine,
Past the throat center and into the heart space.
As you breathe in the light draws to the midbrain center from all directions not just from your breath but from all directions and on the exhale have the intention to send that light down into your heart center.
Few rounds here at your own pace.
You might want to.
.
.
Straighten your spine,
Let your collarbones extend a little,
Dip your chin slightly.
Bowing to this heart space,
The center of coherence,
Of intelligence.
This seat of awareness where we are informed by our Love of life by Al.
Like not our motivation but more our sense of what's important,
What really matters to us.
Now as you breathe in,
Just feeling that heart center.
Letting light accumulate,
Let it build here.
This confluence of the major meridians of your body.
And now let's continue breathing in,
Letting it flood through the head,
Down the spine,
Down the heart,
Down the spine and through into the abdomen now.
Have the intention that as you breathe in this prana,
This energy,
This life force and vitality is like flooding the abdomen between the pubic bone and the solar plexus.
A seat of your motivation.
Your will,
Your ability to Utilize the forces of prana,
The forces of intention,
Informed by the heart,
Informed by your intuition.
Really this is the fire so notice it as embers as light maybe as a fire in this fireplace of your abdomen.
Just letting this area really become ignited.
And as you do this,
I invite you to place your right hand on your belly and your left hand over the top.
As you breathe in,
You're stoking this fire.
As you breathe out,
It's continuing to build.
It's wonderful to have sen culpas,
To have intentions,
To let things go but unless we have that will and that power of determination activated within us then sometimes these intentions and these wishes do not come to fruition so we really want to ignite this energy center,
This place of our determination and power and not only of our determination power but also of our It's a seed of nurturance.
Nourishment for our body.
So as you see the flames building here,
I invite you to do 20 rounds of Kabbalah Bhati if that feels good for you.
Go at your own pace.
Let's begin.
Seeing these flames building,
Getting brighter.
Take a nice deep breath in and slow smooth breath out.
Just noticing this area alive and vitalized.
One more round.
Let's do 10 together.
Now as you breathe in,
As you breathe out,
I invite you to just throw any of the things you want to let go of,
Any of those patterns that no longer serve you into that fire.
Just releasing them,
Letting them out of your energy system,
Out of your mind,
Throwing them in the fire and watching them dissolve.
And as this fire continues to burn brightly,
Lighting up the abdomen,
Lighting up the heart space now as well.
Bring to mind your sankalpa,
The essence of your reflections and the qualities that you want to continue to embody,
That you want to bring forward.
The actions or states of being that you want more of as you Look ahead to 2026.
To the rest of the winter and just see them seated in this place of intention,
This place of knowing.
Getting brighter,
Getting strengthened,
Being informed.
By the power center around the navel and lighting up the heart space as well.
Because they're your joy.
They're what gives you pleasure,
What gives you motivation and love,
What helps fuel you and what helps fuel your heart's desire.
See these flames burning brightly.
Letting the smoke also rise into your intuition,
Into that third eye centre.
You can lower your hands down.
Just have three to eight breaths here.
Just soaking in the practice.
Soaking in the essence of your Sankalpa.
Enjoying the activation of these key energy centers.
The navel,
The heart,
The intuition,
The third eye and just let them inform each other.
Now to close the practice I invite you to take a nice deep breath in with me.
Deep breath out.
Then on the next inhale bring that sankalpa up from the belly through the heart and to the third eye center and just hold your breath here.
Seeing this Sankalpa,
Seeing this intention,
Seeing the essence of it alive and vitalized in your third eye center.
When you can't hold your breath any longer,
Breathe out and imagine it.
Exiting through the third eye.
And coming to life in the space in front of you.
This sankalpa,
This intention,
This energy being born,
Being activated.
Being released into the world.
Noticing what that feels like.
Now softening your breath just ever so softly and gently,
Just breathing about an eighth of your capacity now.
In and out through the nose,
Settling the nervous system.
Noticing what this experience feels like through your whole system.
Letting your body inform your intentions,
Your thinking.
Your Sankalpa and letting your Sankalpa inform your body.
Your mind as you rest in this.
This field of aliveness,
This field of awareness.
Now gently drop that awareness into your heart space.
Noticing the spaciousness present like a clear blue sky.
Tipping your chin,
Lifting your collarbones in these last few moments.
Letting Aum ripple through your heart.
This being and becoming are one.
This silent mantra,
You are om,
Aware of itself.
Letting the attention The awareness just settle here in our last few moments together.
Letting this ripple,
This aliveness,
This presence,
This love ripple out to the people around you.
Knowing that you've each done your individual work,
You've shared,
You've moved.
Now ceded these intentions and let the benefit of your practice ripple out to other people around you.
To the people in your life.
Those who are in favor as well as those who are not in favor.
Letting them feel the benefits of your practice.
Letting your community feel the benefits.
And the whole world.
When you're ready,
I invite you to bring your hands into heart center,
Into Anjali Mudra.
Dip your chin,
Bowing too.
These energies to this practice,
To the teachers who have gone before us.
To yourself for being here.
Thank you.
