Sometimes we give such abundant care to others that we forget to take some for ourselves. As successful women in so many areas, we are often least successful in prioritizing our own needs. Here we are given skill training in self-help.

Meditations for women who do too much.

Alone time and being responsible.

For every well-adjusted and smoothly functioning Americans,

There are two who never have the chance to discover themselves.

It may well be because they have never been alone with themselves.

For Myra Mons Superwomen can always be heard to say,

I know that having time to oneself is important,

It's just not possible for me.

I just have too many responsibilities.

One always wonders how women who seem so powerful and so much on top of their lives can become so helpless in determining what they do with their time.

Our helplessness seems to be situational and often emerges only in relation to our needs.

As successful women,

We are often least successful in caring for ourselves.

We need skill training and self-help.

The choices I make about what I do with my time are my choices,

Even when they don't appear to be.
