Welcome.
This is part of the Dear Self series,
A collection of gentle meditations written as letters to yourself.
Each practice offers a quiet space to slow down,
Listen inward,
And meet yourself with care.
You can return to any meditation in this series whenever you need grounding,
Reassurance,
Or a moment to breathe.
First,
I want to thank you for being here and for choosing to spend this time with yourself.
Before we begin,
Take a moment to arrive in your body.
You can be seated,
Lying down,
Or moving gently through your space.
I want you to let this practice meet you exactly as you are today.
If it feels comfortable,
Take a slow breath in through your nose and let it out.
Easy and unforced.
One more breath in and a soft release.
Allow yourself to settle in.
I know there have been seasons when you felt caught between who you were and who you are becoming.
Moments where the old ways no longer fit,
But the new ones hadn't fully formed yet.
That space can feel uncomfortable,
Uncertain,
Lonely at times.
I want you to know that nothing has gone wrong.
Becoming is not a straight line.
It doesn't always feel like growth while it's happening.
Sometimes it feels like standing still,
Shedding,
Waiting without clear direction.
But you're allowed to move at your own pace.
You are allowed to change your mind.
You are allowed to outgrow what once kept you safe.
There are parts of you that are learning to trust again.
Parts that are learning to speak more honestly.
Parts that are learning how to stay.
If doubt shows up,
Let it be present without judgment.
If fear feels close,
Notice it with care.
You do not need to rush through this chapter.
You are not late to your life.
You are not behind in your becoming.
Each small choice you make to listen to yourself matters.
Each moment you choose softness over self-criticism matters.
Even the pauses matter.
Take a breath here.
Let it land in your chest.
There is no version of you that needs to be earned.
You do not have to prove that you are worthy of the life you have.
You do not have to prove that you are worthy of the life you are growing into.
Becoming is already happening.
In the way you show up differently.
In the way you speak to yourself.
In the way you are learning to stay with what is true.
I am proud of you for continuing.
For choosing honesty over perfection.
For letting yourself change.
As you return to your day,
Carry this knowing with you.
You are allowed to take your time.
You are allowed to become in your own way.
Know that this is one of many Dear Self meditations.
You're welcome to explore the rest of the series whenever you feel called to.
Each one offers a different reflection depending on what you need most.
Thank you for spending this time with yourself.
