I had a student ask for advice about the best strategy to get out of a depression,
To get out of the rut of feeling stuck in a circumstance or an emotional space.
My first answer is always to connect deeper with nature.
Maybe take a walk in a park or on the beach.
Spend a little time just allowing the breeze to blow against your skin.
I believe the solution to isolation is a deeper connection with the purity of nature and the vibrancy of life that exists in everything around us.
I always feel rejuvenated when I spend a little time in nature,
When I allow the energy that moves through everything that exists to move through me.
Then I realize I'm not alone and that now is not forever.
That what happens in this moment is woven into the fabric that defines our life.
That in the ebbs and flows of energy,
In the time that we feel like we're a part of something,
In the time that we feel that we're alone,
In between that there's an energy that connects us with everything.
And the energy of nature is the perfect reminder.
So if there's ever a moment where you feel a little down or feel alone or feel isolated at all,
Just step outside.
Feel a part of everything around you today and let that feed your soul from within.
Blessings,
Blessings,
Blessings.
