This relaxation meditation will help you get out of your mind and into your body,

Thus allowing you to free yourself from fear and anxiety and enable a grounded,

Powerful stage presence.

Standing or sitting,

Breathe naturally.

We will start at the top of your head.

Envision radiant light and spaciousness entering your body.

As you do this,

Relax your muscles.

Start at the top of your brain.

Then slowly move down and envision spaciousness in your forehead,

Your eyes,

Temples,

Your cheeks,

Jaw,

Your mouth,

And all around your face.

Relax your muscles.

Relax the back of your head.

Envision the space and light moving downward into your neck,

Into your shoulders.

Slowly move your shoulders if that feels good.

See this space and light move downward into your arms,

Through your arms into your hands.

And then see this space and light in your chest.

Moving through your upper and lower organs,

Your torso,

Waist,

Your hips,

Down into your pelvis.

As you release all tightness,

See this space and light travel through your thighs,

Down into your knees,

Through your shins,

Into your feet.

And envision this space and light travel below your feet,

Rooting and grounding you into the earth.

As you take in your next deep breath,

Lift your arms to the sky,

And then let it out as you swiftly put your arms back down.

Take another deep breath,

Lift your arms to the sky,

And let it out as you put your arms down.

One more deep breath,

Lift your arms to the sky,

And let your breath out as you put your arms down.

Now in your looseness,

In your relaxed state,

Shake it all out.

Roll your shoulders,

Bend your knees,

Wiggle your toes,

Breathe regularly,

And feel the self-confidence,

Self-love,

And inner strength pouring out from you.
