This Lotus Mudra Meditation is a gentle, warming practice that invites you to connect to your innate sense of trust, warmth, and openness. It is an invitation to celebrate the beauty within you and around you, and invite more good to flow into your life. This practice can be very powerful for shifting out of fear-based patterns, scarcity thinking and limiting beliefs. It assists you in appreciating and really feeling all the good that is already here, while tuning in to and calling in the dreams that live in your heart. If you're looking to (re-)connect to your inner sense of trust, abundance and being in tune with the flow of life, seeing the beauty reflected inside you and around you, then this practice is a very powerful little gem for you.

Welcome to this Lotus Mudra meditation.

Before we begin I invite you to find a comfortable place where you can calmly sit or lie down for the next few minutes and where you can be undisturbed.

This Lotus Mudra is a very beautiful mudra that connects you to your inner sense of warmth,

Trust and really invites you to allow the abundance of all the good and the beauty to flow to you,

To flow into your life.

So if you're looking to connect to this inner sense of trust and abundance and being in tune with the flow of life and seeing the beauty reflected inside you and around you,

Then this little practice is a very powerful little gem that I'm going to share with you right now.

I hope in the meantime you have found a comfortable place to sit or lie down and I invite you to gently close your eyes.

Before we begin with the mudra we're going to take a few deep breaths to really anchor into the moment and to arrive.

We're going to take three deep breaths together and as you breathe in I invite you to imagine letting all the good flow into your life.

You can imagine this as rays of sunshine,

Beautiful experiences,

Joy and as you exhale I invite you to let your weight sink into the floor or the cushion beneath you and imagine everything that weighs heavy on you really sinking down into the ground.

So that's what we'll do.

We'll take three deep breaths together,

Breathing in,

Inhaling sunshine and breathing out,

Releasing everything that you no longer need to hold.

You can also include a few yawns or signs in your releasing moments or a few movements.

Inhale in again,

Breathing in sunshine,

Joy and light and exhaling,

Releasing everything that weighs heavy.

Feel free to also make sounds.

One more time,

Inhale,

Visualize what you'd like to feel and create and receive.

Feel it flowing to you,

Coming to you,

Meeting you where you are and as you exhale give yourself permission to release,

To let go of what weighs heavy on your heart.

Now that we've arrived here I invite you to gently return to your natural breathing rhythm,

Simply observing how your breath flows in and out of your nose.

Then feeling into your body,

Simply noticing the posture that your body naturally took.

Notice and scan your body for any areas where you might still be holding a little bit more attention than you need to and invite these parts gently to relax.

You can imagine the weight really sinking into the floor,

The ground,

The cushion and the floor really coming up to meet you,

To carry you,

To support you and imagine you could just let go of any residual tension in your body,

Even just five or ten percent.

Allow yourself to arrive in your body,

Melt into your body and become really soft.

Now with your next inhale I invite you to raise your arms up above your head,

Bring them together in front of your heart,

First in a namaste and then gently opening up your fingers like a bud of a flower,

Of a lotus,

As if you were holding a golden ball in your hands but your thumbs and your smallest fingers continue to touch and all the fingers form the beautiful bud of a lotus flower.

Then place this beautiful lotus flower,

This beautiful jewel of abundance and joy in front of your heart.

Take a few deep breaths again.

Feel the beauty of this flower in your hands.

Feel the warm connection to your heartbeat,

A strong and powerful life force rhythm guiding you throughout every moment and simply connect with this beautiful flower in your hands and the warm rhythm of your heart and visualize the sun above you shining golden streams of light energy into your flower and into your heart.

These beautiful golden sun rays are filled with everything your heart desires,

With all of your wishes and manifestations and with all the beautiful qualities and experiences that are already present here in your life,

Within you and around you and as you continue to surrender to that image of the golden sun rays filling your beautiful lotus flower,

I invite you to allow yourself to feel the warmth and to recall moments in your life where you felt strong,

Grounded.

Moments where something incredibly beautiful happened to you,

Experiences that made you connect to this natural spark of joy within you,

Connections to beautiful people or beings or animals or nature,

Perhaps communion,

Deep understanding,

Perhaps enjoying a beautiful artwork or musical piece.

Allow your imagination to really open up and receive whatever comes right now,

Whatever these moments are for you,

Totally uniquely for you.

These moments that make your heart feel warm and light and joyful and I invite you to let them appear before your inner eye,

Feel them,

Embrace them,

Surrender to them and let them fill your beautiful lotus flower and as you do that,

Gently slow down and deepen your breath and imagine the light of the golden sun rays in your experience becoming stronger and stronger with each passing moment,

With each in-breath and out-breath and now that you've connected with this beautiful rich feeling of the blessings that are already here present in your life,

I invite you to feel into the beautiful experiences that you'd like to receive,

Breathing into them,

Inviting them in,

Calling them in.

Perhaps there's something very specific,

Very specific dream you'd like to actualize,

A very specific experience you'd like to have.

Simply invite that in and also let it flow into your hands like the golden sun rays into the lotus flower and with each breath,

With each passing moment,

Allow the experiences to become more and more real,

More and more intense.

Imagine yourself feeling and sensing that experience in your whole body and mind,

Letting your heart be illuminated and uplifted by these experiences,

Letting them flow into you,

Into your beautiful lotus flower,

Into your heart and letting them flow into your whole body.

Now visualizing the light flowing from your flower,

From your hands and from your heart into your whole body,

Expanding.

The light is now flowing,

Continuing to flow into your arms,

Your shoulders and from your heart into your chest,

Your whole belly,

Your legs and all the parts of your body.

See it vibrating so strongly,

That beautiful precious energy of light.

See it filling every single part of your body and as you breathe in,

Again you feel the energy of the light intensify,

This warm protecting golden glow and as you exhale,

You feel it reaching even the last tiny bits and parts of your body,

Illuminating your whole body now.

And the next time you breathe in,

You feel that energy expanding and extending even beyond your physical body.

You feel this light,

This energy of the sun rays,

Blessed with all your beautiful intentions.

You feel this energy illuminating the space around your body with gold light and sunshine energy.

And feel into you,

How far can this light stretch?

Can it fill your entire room or space where you are?

Can it even continue expanding further and further and further?

Can you even imagine this light of yours illuminating your whole city,

Your whole country,

The whole continent upon which you are based and even the whole planet earth?

I invite you to play,

Gently play with this imagination and feel into your light and however it wants to show itself to you today,

However it feels right and aligned for you today,

Allow it to expand,

To expand,

Filling the golden sun rays,

Filling them with love,

Joy,

Blessing and letting your entire self and your entire space be blessed and protected by this golden sunshine energy.

Take a deep breath in and as you exhale,

I invite you to slowly and gently whisper a little thank you into your hands and then let the lotus mudra go.

Place your hands on your lap,

Palms facing up and simply rest and receive for a few moments before returning to the physical world.

Now,

Simply allow yourself to really reverberate in this beautiful sunshine energy,

Feeling the echo of the experience in your body and mind,

Feeling yourself protected by this golden light and the sun ray,

Connecting with your heart,

Your breath and how you sense your body.

Take a few moments in your own time to do that and whenever you're ready,

Gently open up your eyes,

Allow your gaze to wander around your space of the room in a soft and gentle way.

Take a few energizing deeper breaths,

Inviting some movements,

A little stretch and return to your day or night,

Carrying that beautiful energy of sun rays with you wherever you go.
