Sit or lie down comfortably.
Close your eyes.
Be aware of your breath.
Feel your belly expanding gently as you inhale and receding as you exhale.
You are now walking on a gravel road.
It's summer and pleasantly warm.
The sun is shining.
You are wearing your favorite summer clothes.
You arrive at a beautiful garden gate with a high and dense hedge at the sides.
You open the gate and step inside.
You are now in a large garden.
The garden is carefully cared for and consists of various beautiful flower beds.
Between the flower beds there are gravel paths.
You walk to the left and on your left hand side you see orange and yellow roses.
You can smell the roses.
A bit in front of you you can see a pergola which is almost completely covered in ivy.
You walk up to it and step inside the pergola.
Inside there is a desk,
An armchair and a large brown chest.
You sit down in the armchair by the desk.
On the desk there is a cup with quill pens in it.
There are blank papers and envelopes and right in front of you there is a sealed envelope where you read your name.
You pick up the letter knife on the far right of the desk and open the envelope.
Therein lies a letter to you from your future self.
Your future self in 20 years from now has written a letter that you will read now.
What does it say?
What message do you get in the letter?
What in the message is important to you right now?
How do you feel right now when you are reading the letter?
When you are done with the letter and its message you can put it back in the envelope.
You can take it with you from here or put it in the bin under the desk if you feel done with it.
Now you can take one of the blank papers and an envelope and choose a quill pen from the cup.
On the outside of the envelope write your name and an age back in time.
Then you write a line or more to yourself at that age.
Something you would have needed to hear then.
When you're done put the paper in the envelope and seal it.
You then put it in the large chest outside of the desk.
You are now stepping out of the pergola but you are not in the same garden.
You are now in a place you often were when you were the age to which you wrote the letter.
You are now at that age and you have just received the letter in your hand.
You sit down comfortably and read the letter.
See how you look at this time.
What are you wearing?
How are you feeling?
Notice how you feel when you are reading the letter.
Thank yourself and fold the letter again.
You now get up and start walking and shortly,
Just now,
You are on the gravel road outside the gate to the garden again.
You open the gate and step the garden.
You are now back in the present.
You are exactly who you are right now.
You are here and now.
You see the pergola a little further away and smell all the flowers.
You are allowed to pick a flower from the garden.
Smell it,
Remember it.
Then you open the gate to leave the garden and close it again behind you.
You now know where the garden is,
If you ever want to come back.
You start walking on the gravel road that leads away from the garden.
You once again notice the glorious warmth against your body of the wonderful summer day and you open your eyes and come back to the room where you are right now.
