This is our a first guided meditation for relaxation, balance and harmony. This mediatation lasts for just over 12 minutes, just before the 10 minute mark Carolyn will leave you with just the music. The music will then steadily fade until just over the 12 minute mark. This mediatation will help with the following..' Find yourself somewhere relaxing,

Somewhere peaceful,

Somewhere quiet.

In this place,

Make yourself comfortable.

On a chair,

Lying on the floor or on your bed.

Close your eyes,

In your mind,

Imagine some stones lying on the ground in front of you.

In the distance,

You will see a beautiful calming river and gentle thoughts will enter your mind.

When you are ready,

Gently close your eyes.

Take a deep breath and expand your chest.

Hold and release.

Now it is time for balance.

Pick up a stone and hold it.

Breathe in,

Hold.

Breathe out and place the stone in front of you.

You are grounded.

Take another stone and hold it in your hand.

Take in a deep breath and hold.

Exhale and place the stone on top of the other.

Take in and release a big deep breath and let go of your day.

Let it go far far away.

Feel your muscles relax.

The tension is leaving your body.

If your mind wanders,

Which is normal,

Bring your attention back to your breathing.

Take another stone and notice how cool the stone feels in your hand.

Breathe in and exhale.

Place the stone on top of the other.

You are feeling peaceful.

You are sitting by the tree.

The breeze is gently flowing over you.

The ball is calm.

Carefully picking up the fourth stone.

Feel its amazing strength.

Take a deep breath in and as you exhale,

Place the stone on top of the other stones.

You are free from distractions.

You are peaceful.

You are like a gentle river flowing through the harmony of life.

Take in another stone,

Feel the steadiness and the durability of its structure.

Take a deep breath in,

Hold and exhale.

Place the stone on the one before.

Notice how peaceful you are.

Notice how balanced you are.

Listen to the breeze as it gently rustles the leaves.

They move together in harmony.

You are strong.

You are happy.

You are relaxed.

You are here.

Take the last stone and hold it in your hand.

Now you will feel its strength.

Absorb its power and take in a deep breath.

Hold for a moment.

As you exhale,

Now place the stone on the top.

As the stones are balanced,

So is your life.

Energy flows within you.

Peaceful thoughts run through your mind.

You are calm.

When you are ready,

Open your eyes.

Slowly come back into the room.

Feeling calm.

Feeling peaceful.

Feeling balanced.

You are important.

You have earned these moments to take out of your day,

To relax,

Unwind and recharge.

Now as the music fades,

I will leave you by yourself.
