A combination of conscious connected breathwork, breath holds, somatic exploration and visualization. Prepare to take a shamanic journey deep into your unconsciousness, meet your guides and use the breath to help release anything that might be holding you back from your ideal life.

Today,
We take a journey to meet our guides in the unconscious,
Our spirit world,
Just as the caterpillar sheds its form and emerges as a beautiful butterfly.
We will recognize the things we need to let go of in order to move forward in our lives.
So as we emerge with spirit today,
What I would like for you to do is use your imagination and feel a little bit deeper than you may normally do or have in the past.
And I want you to recognize those parts of yourself that reflect that darker shadowed side that we all have,
That we all learn from.
I'm going to have you look deep into yourself and see how that part of you,
The part of you you may have resisted letting go of,
Has held on for so long.
How the parts of you that are scared,
Are hurt,
Are angry,
Hold you back from moving into your purpose,
Into your truth,
And embracing who you truly are.
Then we're going to emerge from the cocoon and we're going to come out the other side,
Transformed into that beautiful butterfly that can rise above to do things that we haven't been able to do before.
Be able to see who we came here to be,
Who we truly are deep in our core.
So I invite you to focus on the breath and the sensations in your body.
Lightly scan your body and rest your awareness on the strongest sensation.
Imagining breathing in through this sensation and fully relax on the exhale.
Lightly you will notice many sensations during the course of this meditation.
Just lightly focus on the strongest sensation.
Search for any enjoyment you can find there.
Breathe through it and allow the energy to cycle,
Drawing your awareness to different areas of your body.
Today I want you to use your breath as your vehicle,
As your way in,
As your guide towards transformation.
The shamanic breath that we will be using today is in through your nose and out through your nose very quickly.
These are circular breaths with no pauses after the inhale or the exhale.
You might feel a little light headed or notice a bit of tingling in your body.
If you do,
Just rest your awareness here and focus on relaxing on the exhale.
Let's begin.
Deep breaths in and out through the nose.
Approximately 2-3 seconds inhales and exhales,
Whatever is comfortable for you.
Scanning the body as you go and noticing sensations.
If the sensations are uncomfortable,
You may want to speed up the breath to help the energy unbind and move on.
If the sensation is comfortable and enjoyable,
Then you can breathe more slowly and deeply to savor the sensation.
As you begin to feel more relaxed,
I invite you to imagine a doorway of light into your heart.
Imagine shrinking down and passing through this opening into lighted chamber.
Your guide will be waiting for you on the other side.
You may see him or her,
You trust that they are there to help you and lovingly show you what you have traveled here to know.
I invite you to breathe in and out through the nose and feel.
Imagine speaking with your guide,
Surrounded by a circle of golden light inside your heart and see yourself traveling the circle,
Going from east to west,
North to south,
Calling for these energies inside of you to assist with your healing journey.
Surrounded by light,
At one with the light energy which travels inside of you,
Connecting all areas of your body into a cohesive whole.
You may have more than one guide that shows up for you today.
Take a moment to just feel the energies around your guides.
Your power animals help you experience the ancestors,
Your heritage,
They have all gathered here today,
Bathed in the beautiful energy of your heart.
I invite you to breathe,
Deep full breaths,
In and out through the nose,
No pauses,
As fast and full as is comfortable for you,
Filling the entire torso with air,
As your guides energy circles around you,
Mingling with your own,
Recognize and honor all your parts,
All your influences,
Good and bad,
That have led you here to this moment.
Where are the places where you give away your energy,
Your power,
Places where you haven't been there for yourself?
And decide today that you are willing and wanting to let go,
To transform.
How can you more fully embody your light and who you came here to be?
What has been holding you back or getting in the way?
Bring all those blocks,
Along with your strengths,
To the surface,
Right now,
Everything that you need to let go,
Being conscious,
Very conscious of what it has taught you,
How it has served you,
How it has held you back.
It has been a blessing and a curse,
A lesson and a shadow,
Name these things and say to yourself,
I am ready to let go,
I am ready to let go,
You are ready to let go,
Continue to notice on the inhale and release on the exhale,
Letting everything go,
Notice anything that comes up,
Any emotion or physical sensation or discomfort,
Breathe into them and find the pleasure.
These sensations are how you know you are alive,
Think these emotions,
Thoughts and feelings for being a part of your lived experience,
Acknowledge them and let them go on the exhale.
Consciously releasing this energy out into the world to be transformed into something vital and new,

Feel the energies of your guides surrounding you,
A circle supporting you and loving you,
Giving you courage and strength,

No pauses.
Inhale becomes longer and slower.
When you are comfortable and desire to savor that feeling,
Enrapture the more shallow.
When you meet discomfort physically or emotionally in order to help the sensation pass through.
Whatever the speed,
Know that your current breathing is what's perfect for you right now,
In this moment.
Just focus on releasing and allow yourself to fully feel.
Take one last final minute to feel and release anything that's ready to move.
Whatever wants to float away on the exhale.
Light and with ease.
No longer a burden.
Release and let go.
Feel the lightness in your body,
In your brain,
As these burdens float away.
Know that you are already perfect,
Whole and complete.
Exactly as you are.
Feel your guides surrounding you.
They've always been here for you.
They have watched you go through all the suffering.
But they know that suffering is sometimes necessary.
The only way to find our truth is to be challenged and learn from these experiences,
Growing from the pain.
Now,
Look in the face of each one of your guides and all those that are good in your life,
And see yourself reflected in their eyes,
Their loving gaze.
Perfect,
Whole and complete.
You are lovable exactly as you are.
Breathe in this loving light.
Allow it to fill the spaces within you.
Spaces your burdens used to occupy.
Fill these empty spaces with love,
Serenity,
Connection,
Gratitude,
Self-love.
Feel all those things stirring around inside of you,
Nestling in,
Finding a spot to stay,
Taking up residence,
And imagine how your life will be different.
How things will change.
How will your life be different.
How will you be different.
Don't release the breath just yet.
Continue to breathe.
Maybe your life will be a bit lighter and softer,
More filled with love.
Imagine breathing in this love on the inhale as you release anything you don't desire on the exhale.
Maybe you'll find empathy instead of anger,
Connection instead of jealousy.
Thank your guide for showing up today,
For helping you through this process,
For always being there with you.
Gather them to you and pull them in tight as you expand,
Growing larger,
To emerge out of your heart and back into the world.
Take a deep breath and feel the space beneath you,
Feel the earth beneath you,
Feel the room around you,
Feel the rise and fall of your chest as you breathe and bring yourself fully back.
Now release the breath,
Just give it back to the brainstem for a few breaths and absorb.
On the next exhale,
Release the breath and hold with empty lungs.
Feel into your body,
Into the stillness as you hold the breath out of your body.
As long as it's comfortable.
Sink into your body here,
Enjoy the sensations.
When you're ready,
Take a big beautiful inhale and hold.
Keep the air inside the body,
Zip up the stomach,
Pull up on the pelvic floor,
Your gaze pales up towards your third eye.
Enjoy the stillness,
Feel the energy moving in your body,
Hold for as long as is comfortable and then gently release.
Just relax here,
Enjoying the music and feeling the changes you have made in your body.
