Sound Bath Sessions 290: Savy Ho
Savy had always found solace in yoga during tumultuous times and so she naturally gravitated to something that could heal her and make her stronger. She started a new chapter of her life as a yoga teacher in studios around KL. Almost 10 years ago, a chance meeting with an old colleague planted the seed for her future in sound healing and she eventually started doing it full time. The pandemic made her realize that she had more potential than she settled for and started down a new ambitious path- more focused, more value, and more…her. Savy started the first session with long drones of single bowls slowly morphing into each other. Single struck notes with space between them encourage us to reflect on each note. It gives such an interesting asymmetrical stereo image. The close micing of the bowls, and the contrasting feeling of a large space with no echo, heightens the sense of delicate touch and close intimacy she has with her bowls.
