Sound Bath Sessions 259: Hyunju Kim

My first morning in Seoul, I was greeted by a beautiful morning so I left with a light jacket only to find out that later in the day, the temperature dropped to the low teens (Celcius). By lunch I was almost freezing. My schedule was so tight, I just had to bear it for the day. What I didn't know was that I would record some of the most unforgettable sessions of my trip.

My first recording in Seoul was Hyunju Kim in her basement studio near the Yeogsam Station. Hyunju's style is so bold and refreshing. From the first notes you know this is not going to be your usual session. They will push your limits and leave you in awe.

I describe this session in simple words to preserve its emotion: Slow. Moving. So much energy. Calm. Powerful ending.
