Sound Bath Sessions 161: Ana Chung

I recorded Ana second record at her studio in Kwun Tong. This time the daytime presented new challenges from the construction across the street but just the right amount of ambience to complete the track.

Ana selected just a few bowls for the track matching a few notes in a high and low octave. The bowls this time were lower in tone and felt quite heavy during the session. The slower tempo further emphasizing its density. I felt a gentle resistance in my breathing as the tones embraced me, warming my belly. It was so comfortable and familiar. Her low voice adding a human touch to the flawless sounds of crystal. It’s a perfect track for the cooler weather ahead.
