Sound Bath Sessions 154: Fiona Teo

I ventured to the Tiong Bahru area to record Noel and Fiona in their apartment where they regularly hold sessions. Their large living room showcases their instruments and the many things they offer during their sessions such as cacao and teas. They both have had training from gong masters around the world and have visited gong makers in Germany. Fiona is an Innerdance disciple and regularly holds sessions in SG.

Fiona uses the gongs with other instruments and her voice in a loose, expressive way. Her tribal chanting was especially invigorating and included growls and primitive vocalizations. This track is the first solo track I recorded of Fiona.
