Sound Bath Sessions 058: Emma & Vicky

While I like to record all the tracks at once for efficiency, spacing out the recordings can create a more varied performance. Emma Cheung and Vicky Chan could only record one track a month, but each recording had a clear concept from the last one.

In this recording, Emma and Vicky played the bowls together. Vicky played the crystal harp while Emma continued with the bowls. Construction sounds and street sounds creep in occasionally. An uplifting, calming piece played with mostly higher tones in a slow tempo.
