Everybody these days is using these affirmations.
I mean.

How do they work?
How can just saying some few positive words or saying nice things to myself change anything in my life?
Yeah,
I mean,
See,
One thing is it helps us feel good.
Okay,
But it's more than that.
Because when we're doing an affirmation,
No,
We're actively shifting our focus from what we don't want to what we actually want to experience in our life.
And that itself gets things moving because our thoughts create a reality.
What are you girls talking about?
About how affirmations work,
How do they work.
So how do affirmations work?
First of all,
What is an affirmation?
Anything that we are thinking,
Doing,
Saying is an affirmation.
People think it's just positive statements,
But it's not just that.
Because all through the whole day,
Whole life,
We have some thoughts,
We are taking some action,
All that is affirming something.
So.

What we are thinking.
Is what will get reflected outside.
And Louise Hay says,
Whatever we give out,
We get back,
And we get it back multiplied.
So if I give out thoughts of hate,
What will I get back?
I'll get back not only thoughts of hate,
But even actions of hate,
Because it's coming back multiplied.
And if I think thoughts of love,
Then I get back unconditional love.
What about jealousy?
If I think thoughts of jealousy,
What do I attract into my life?
Lots of lack.
Why lack?
Because jealousy indicates that I believe there is not enough for me to have what somebody else is having.
So that's jealousy.
Concept of land.
So then I'm creating lack in my life.
That's what I attracted to my life.
Whereas if I think of forgiveness,
What do I attract?
I attract healing.
So it's.

What I'm thinking which is attracting what I'm getting into my life.
And how is our thought process in general?
You know research has found that 70% of our thoughts are negative.
And how many thoughts do you think we have in a day?
We have 60 to 80,
000 thoughts in a day.
And imagine if 70% of these thoughts are negative,
What are we creating for ourselves?
What are we creating for our life?
And those same thoughts,
90% of those thoughts are repeated the next day.
So it really doesn't work.
So,
What are we doing when we are doing an affirmation?
We are replacing some of those you know,
70,
000 thoughts,
We are replacing some of those with something positive,
With something that we desire rather than something that we don't desire.
So basically we are retraining our thinking.
So that's what an affirmation is about.
And when we do that,
We start activating certain neural pathways,
Neural connections in our brain,
And those pathways become stronger and stronger.
These thoughts that we are thinking about will become our dominant thoughts.
Dominant thought.
And like how we would run along those old you know worry thoughts or hate thoughts or whatever it was now we naturally move towards these thoughts because we've created this pathway or in the beginning we have options we can go there we can go here and then as we use this more and more this becomes our dominant track it's like laying a railway track And then when we start thinking these thoughts,
What will happen?
We will be attracting more and more of that into our life.
