Tonight is about release.
Find a comfortable position.
Lying down is recommended.
Being seated is also fine.
As long as you are comfortable,
Allow your body to settle.
Let gravity do the work.
Take a slow breath in through your nose.
Do not force it.
Just let it arrive.
Hold gently.
Now exhale through the mouth,
Slow and long.
Again,
Inhale,
Exhale.
With every exhale,
You are signaling completion.
The day is over.
Bring your awareness to the weight of your body.
Feel how the surface beneath you supports you completely.
You are allowed to rest.
There is nothing left to prove.
Bring your attention to your feet.
Notice any remaining tension.
Feet often hold the residue of the day.
Movement.
Pressure.
Direction.
On your next exhale,
Allow your feet to soften completely.
Imagine them growing warm and heavy.
Now move awareness slowly into your calves.
Let go of the effort to stand,
Walk or move.
There is no destination now,
Only rest.
Breathe out.
Bring your awareness to your knees and thighs.
These muscles worked today.
They carried you.
Now they need rest.
Let them sink downward.
Feel the release.
Bring awareness to your hips and pelvis.
This area often holds emotional tension,
Control,
Restraint,
Unfinished reactions.
You do not need to process anything now.
Just allow the area to loosen.
Exhale slowly.
Bring awareness to your lower back.
This is where many men carry responsibility.
The weight of roles,
Expectations,
Provision.
Tonight,
You set that weight down.
With each exhale,
Imagine the muscles along your spine releasing layer by layer.
Your back is supported.
You are supported.
Bring awareness to your abdomen.
Notice if the stomach is tight.
Let it soften.
Let the breath move naturally.
There is no need to guard yourself here.
Now bring awareness to your chest.
Notice the rise and fall.
Notice the heart beating steadily.
Your heart worked today.
It responded to effort,
Stress,
Emotion.
Now it slows.
With each breath out,
Imagine the chest softening and widening.
The armor dissolves.
Calm spreads outward.
Bring awareness to your shoulders.
Let them drop.
They do not need to carry anything now.
Your arms grow heavy.
Your hands relax.
Unclench the fingers.
Bring awareness to your neck and throat.
This is where unspoken words live.
You do not need to speak them tonight.
Allow the throat to soften.
Let the breath pass freely.
Now bring awareness to your jaw.
Notice if it is clenched.
Release it gently.
Let the tongue rest.
Your face softens.
Your forehead smooths.
Your eyes relax deeply.
Deeply behind closed lids.
Your entire body is now entering rest.
Thoughts may still appear.
That is normal.
Mental clutter is not cleared by force.
It clears through permission.
Imagine your thoughts as items placed on a table.
You do not need to organize them.
Just acknowledge them and leave them where they are.
They will still be there tomorrow if needed.
Repeat silently.
The day is complete.
I release what is not needed.
I allow rest.
With each repetition,
Your nervous system shifts further into calm.
Now gently review the day without judgment.
Moments of effort.
Moments of frustration.
Moments of success.
Acknowledge them all.
Then imagine placing the entire day into a container.
You close the lid.
You set it aside.
The day no longer belongs to you.
Now imagine a quiet space.
Dim light.
Stillness.
Nothing is demanded of you here.
Your body understands this space.
Your breathing slows naturally.
Longer exhales.
Deeper rest.
Repeat silently.
I have done enough for today.
I am allowed to rest.
My mind can be quiet.
Feel the heaviness spreading through your body.
This heaviness is not fatigue.
It is surrender.
Stay here.
If thoughts arise,
Let them drift past like clouds.
No engagement.
No resistance.
Just return to the sensation of being supported.
You are safe.
You are done.
Remain here for several minutes.
Take several breaths.
Allow sleep to approach naturally.
Or simply rest in calm awareness.
