An autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) is a tingling sensation that usually begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. ASMRs have become increasingly popular over recent years. I tend to find the sounds satisfying but never achieve the tingling sensations, they are just pleasing sounds to me. So, essentially I do these for myself as I find the sounds satisfying. I hope you enjoy this recording of me slowly tearing and playing around with paper.

I've never experienced the ASMR tingles either, I'm presuming it's because my nervous system is stuck in an overactive state. I do really enjoy the sounds though, although maybe not the whispering ones so much. I've been collecting sounds for years and hope to record my own some day.
