Night Drive Ambience

I love the sounds of being on a long, lonely night drive. I often listen to music but have come to appreciate the silence & listening to the sound of the motor whirring, the wind whistling and sweeping by the windows, and the hiss as other cars pass by.

I don't drive anymore - but I do a lot of traveling with my other half, Michelle. During these journeys, I often record the sounds whilst we drift along the country. Many of the recordings I find uninspiring, and nothing ever comes of them.

However, I enjoyed this one. there are so many subtle sounds buried in this recording. I was monitoring this on headphones whilst recording and ended up falling asleep myself in the end. There's something hypnotic about the ambiance of car journeys that just makes me instantly sleepy & drift off. I thought others may enjoy this and benefit from it too.
