Hi,
I'm Robin Tucker.
Thank you for deciding to start your day with me.
Take a deep breath in and let it out.
And take a moment to honor and accept how you feel right now.
Maybe you're ready to take on today with energy,
Or maybe you're hesitant,
Angry,
Sad,
Or feeling another negative emotion.
Whatever is going on for you,
Accept it and affirm that you are allowed to feel everything.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
And on the exhale,
Purse your lips and blow slowly and deliberately out through your mouth as if you were blowing a very slow and steady stream of bubbles.
Take the next few minutes to do this,
Feeling more and more grounded and awake in your body.
And this deep,
Slow breathing will send messages of safety and relaxation to your brain and nervous system.
Now I'd like you to turn your attention to some things that you can express gratitude for in your life.
Feel grateful for the bed that you've slept in all night,
For your blankets and your pillows,
Your mattress,
Your bed frame.
Feel grateful for the room that has sheltered you,
Kept you warm or cool.
For your house and all the rooms inside.
Bathrooms,
Kitchens,
Places to socialize and sit,
Places to eat.
Feel grateful for the power that flows in and out of your house,
Bringing light,
Heat,
Air,
Electricity.
For the running water,
Hot,
Cold and everything in between that is so easily accessed by you with a simple turn of a knob.
For plumbing,
For your toilets,
Your fridge and your freezer and your oven.
And now feel grateful for your body,
For taking over and running the show while you slept this night.
And for everything it does throughout the day,
Taking in oxygen,
Keeping a steady heartbeat,
Digesting food,
Building new cells and releasing old ones,
Producing chemicals and hormones that keep you alive,
Well and thriving.
Now take a moment and think of one thing that you can do today that is going to be really fun for you.
And one thing you can do today that will bring yourself closer to you,
Be it yoga,
Meditation,
A walk in the park.
Start getting in the habit of asking your body what it wants and listening for its response.
If there's anything that you're dreading today,
Anything that is stressing you out or making you afraid or anxious,
Take a moment to remember that there is plenty of time and energy for everything that you need and want to do today.
Draw energy up from the earth and into your body,
Flowing through you and enriching every molecule of your being.
The moon and the stars,
Fading in the light of the sun,
Send you their last energy to light and guide you throughout your day.
And the sun,
Shining down from the heavens and warming the earth,
Sends you warmth,
Light and vibrant energy for the day ahead.
Soak in this energy and send love and light ahead of you to all the places that you will find yourself today,
The places you know and the places you don't.
And send this light to the people that you will interact with today,
Yourself and others,
Everyone showered in this beautiful and abundant light that comes from within you.
And now take a moment to call upon whoever you would like to guide you and guard you through today.
Be it your higher self,
Angels,
Spirits,
Gods.
Affirm that you are not alone and ask for any assistance that you require today,
Right here and right now.
They are listening and they are here with you.
Feel their presence around you like a warm and comforting hug.
And finally,
Take this last minute or two to say a few affirmations out loud or in your head.
It may be that you have affirmations you've been working with recently or maybe you'd like to try some new ones.
I am enough.
Today is a new day such as I have never had before.
I deeply love and completely accept myself.
All is well in my world and I am safe.
Joy and abundance flow easily to me.
Are a few examples of the kind of thing you could start the habit of saying in the morning.
Take a few minutes now to say some affirmations.
Wherever you go today,
Love and light waits for you.
Today is all for you and it is another chance for you to live out your highest good and greatest joy.
Thank you for starting off your day with me.
I love you very much and I'll see you later.
