Sugandhim pushti-vardhanam | 
Urvārukamiva bandhanan
 Mrityor mukshiya mamrita || We worship the 3-eyed one (Shiva) who is fragrant with spiritual essence, who nourishes all beings, making them strong. May I be detached from the bondage of life and death, like a ripe cucumber from the stem, not from immortality. Liberate us from the fear of death to realize we are immortal.
