Let's be aware of the changes,
The shifts,
The transformations that are going on in the world around us.
We can look at them and observe them and based on prior experience,
Predict them.
And still we are here right now with the opportunity to accept the blessing of this moment.
So close your eyes if it's safe and comfortable to do that.
Let yourself be present right here and right now.
Open your awareness,
Open your inner eye to see the gift that is at hand.
Perhaps it's something obvious,
Something delightful,
Something that you look forward to.
Maybe it's something hidden,
Something mysterious,
Something that you've never recognized as a gift.
Without judgment or criticism,
Just be aware of that.
Be aware that there's something new that's available.
Take a deep breath in,
Be filled with that awareness,
Be filled with this gift that is this moment now.
There's something wonderful available right here and now.
And a deep breath out and with that breath let go of attachment to the situation,
Circumstances,
Or apparent gifts showing up in a way that you think they ought to.
Another deep breath in,
Invite in a new perspective on what's happening next.
It might be the same thing happening and you get to experience it differently.
It might be that looking from a different perspective you see something new.
Deep breath out,
Let go again of it being what you thought it was.
Be aware of the gifts that surround you,
That support you,
That are open to you.
Breathe in and continue breathing in your comfortable rhythm.
Being filled,
Letting go,
Inviting the gifts,
Settling into new possibilities.
And we'll do that in a quiet for a couple minutes.
Scripture says that the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
And some people interpret that to mean that if we behave ourselves then after we die we will attain the kingdom of heaven.
And that's not what it says.
It says the kingdom of heaven is at hand and we have these hands.
And as we open to the good that's available to us,
The kingdom fills us with that good.
There is no delay necessary.
There is no additional deserving.
And the reason for that is that there's one,
One divine power and presence,
One love that shares itself as all of its creation.
And since there's only one that must include me and each of us.
So it is impossible to think that one of the cells in your body deserves something more than another cell in your body.
It's all part of the one body.
We are all part of that one creative power,
One divine essence,
One limitless creation.
So all of the good that's available anywhere is available everywhere and to each of us.
And as we let go of resistance and open to new possibilities,
As we invite in the awareness of the good that is at hand,
We're filled with it.
With a new awareness of the stuff that's already there and with a new experience that builds on top of what's been.
This is the good that's unfolding for each of us.
And I'm so,
So grateful for it.
So grateful.
And with a deep feeling of thanks for all of the good that's already unfolding and continues to do so,
I speak this word and release it into the creative law that creates everything.
And I know that it's creating this now.
This good is underway now.
And so I let it be.
And so it is.
So it is.
