So just inviting you into this current moment to let go of your day and receive this meditation.
Letting the words wash over you and any thoughts you have,
Allowing them to come and go.
They have served their purpose for the day and now it is time to receive and rest.
So just inviting you to close down your eyes when you're ready and allow yourself to relax further into your bed.
And just bringing your attention to your breath for a moment.
Taking in a deep breath in and then exhaling.
Letting any stress of your day start to wash away.
And taking in another deep breath and letting it go.
With each exhale just imagining any thoughts you no longer need leaving your body.
Just continue with your breath,
Letting that guide you.
And just checking in with your body now.
Re-noticing if you're holding any tension,
Noticing any tightness.
And using this moment now to squeeze your entire body from your hands to your legs to your feet and then letting go as your body softens and melts further into the bed.
And just trying this once more,
Squeezing your entire body from your hands to your legs to your feet,
Squeezing,
Squeezing.
And then letting go with a big exhale.
Realizing yourself to drop further into your body as you feel yourself softening and melting.
Noticing as your body grows heavier and your mind slows down.
And just connecting in with your breath again.
Notice the rise and fall of your chest with each inhale and exhale.
The power of your breath allowing you to relax and receive.
And when you're ready,
Continue breathing and allow yourself to drift off.
