We are living in extremely stressful times. Release the Balloon allows your child to let go of their worries and learn a tool they can use at any time. It quiets the mind and allows the child to relax. It lessens the mind of obsessive thinking and allows angst to float away with the balloons. It is a wonderful sleep aid or to help with focus during the school day. The track is repetitive as we have found that playing on repeat allows for deeper relaxation.

In this moment,

Find a comfortable position,

Sitting up,

Lying down,

With eyes open or eyes closed.

And check inside of you and see if you can find a feeling,

If there is some sadness or anger.

Are you feeling lonely or scared?

Check to see what feeling is here.

And check to see where in your body you feel it.

Is there a ball in the pit of your stomach?

Is there a sharp pain in your chest?

Is it all over or nowhere at all?

And in this moment,

Can you pick a balloon that matches the feeling?

What color is the feeling?

Is it a big feeling or a small feeling?

Pick a balloon that's the size and color of the feeling.

Is it a big red balloon,

A small yellow balloon,

Or a medium-sized blue balloon?

Pick any color,

Any size.

When you have that balloon,

Bring it close to you.

Let the feeling be near you.

And now,

Push the balloon away.

Push the feeling away.

And bring it close.

And just let it be here.

And push it away.

And wish that it wasn't here.

And bring it close.

And push it away.

And bring it close.

Bring the balloon really close to you.

Hug it tight.

And now,

Push it away.

Push that feeling far away from you.

Bring it close.

Push it away.

Close.

Away.

And in this moment,

I want you to open up your hand and let the balloon float up and away.

Let the feeling go.

And now,

Check to see if there's another feeling inside of you or the same feeling.

And pick a balloon that matches that feeling.

Is this balloon purple or yellow?

Is it big or small?

Pick the balloon that matches the feeling and bring that balloon close to you.

Let the feeling be near you.

And now,

Push the balloon away.

Push that feeling away.

Bring it close.

Push it away.

And check to see in this moment if you can let it go.

Open up your hand and let the balloon float up and away.

And now,

Check to see if there's another feeling or the same feeling that's coming up for you.

And pick a balloon that matches the feeling.

Bring the balloon close to you and push the balloon away from you.

Bring it close and push it away.

Close and away.

Close and away.

And now,

Let it go.

Watch it float up and away.

Goodbye balloon.

Goodbye feeling.

And rest in this space.

And now,

Do you feel it somewhere or nowhere?

Check to see.

And now,

Take that balloon and notice it.

Give it space to be and allow the feeling.

Bring the balloon close to you and let the feeling be near you.

And now,

Push the balloon away.

Feel the peace.

And rest.
