Hello,
My name is Jacqueline and I am a very proud grandma.
I write guided meditations for my grandchildren and I'm happy to share them with you too.
As you journey through this visualization you will be given words of wisdom from some familiar farm animals.
Animals can teach us so much,
The way they socialize and interact with each other and also their sense of being.
In this meditation we will go for a walk around a farmyard to visit the animals and see what special things the animals have to teach us.
So keep your mind open and be ready to use your imagination.
Let's prepare.
Make yourself comfortable either sitting or lying down.
Wiggle a little and now allow your body to completely relax.
Take a deep breath in and as you slowly breathe out gently close your eyes.
Take another deep breath in and relax your shoulders as you breathe out.
And now we are ready to begin.
In your mind's eye you see yourself standing in a farmyard.
It's a beautiful sunny day and the birds are singing.
All seems quiet on the farm until suddenly you hear some joyful woofs as a sheepdog runs up to greet you.
He comes bounding over and looks as if he's smiling as he runs around you with his tail wagon.
He is pleased to see you.
He stops and sits in front of you and looks up into your eyes.
You pet him and as you do your mind connects to him.
The sheepdog likes to protect and is not afraid to stand up for himself and he loves nothing more than to help others.
The sheepdog wants you to know that loyalty brings rewards.
And he also wants you to remember to help people whenever you can.
The sheepdog runs off but he doesn't go far before he comes back and runs around you letting you know he wants you to follow him.
He runs off again and this time you do follow.
He leads you to a field where sheep are quietly grazing.
As you watch the sheep happily going about their day with seemingly not a care in the world,
You realize that it's the little things in life you should be enjoying instead of pining for things which you don't have.
The sheep remind you to be thankful for the things you already have in your life and to enjoy them.
A quacking sound startles you.
You turn around and see a big white duck waddling up to you and she has a lot to say.
The sheepdog goes up to the duck and sniffs her but the duck takes no notice and keeps on walking.
The duck stops in front of you and quacks.
Her message to you is don't hide your feelings.
Be true to yourself and trust your instincts.
Find happiness in each day and enjoy the time you spend with your friends.
The duck gives a final quack and waddles off to join her friends who all quack happily when they see her coming.
The sheepdog woofs to catch your attention and then walks off,
Still watching you to make sure you follow.
You walk after him.
Taken in the beautiful surroundings around you,
You take a deep breath as you enjoy the fresh air.
You feel thankful to be alive.
But the clean fresh smells you were enjoying soon disappear as you approach the pig pen.
You are about to complain about the pong when a big round pink pig snorts at you.
You hear her say life isn't always exactly as we want it to be but we should always find things to enjoy and be excited for what's to come.
Don't worry what others may think.
Work hard and appreciate the simple things.
With a final snort she goes back to her family and you smile at the sight of her little curly tail.
A cow moos in a neighbouring field and sends you a message to stay humble and make sure to take care of your environment.
The sheepdog runs towards another field which has a small barn to one side.
A beautiful grey horse is standing outside the barn nibbling on hay from a hanging hay net.
You walk over to the gate and the horse turns to look at you.
Nodding with approval,
He strides confidently over to you and you pet his long nose,
Feeling the strength within him.
As you feel the horse's strength flow into you,
As you feel the horse's strength flow into you,
You sense the message from him.
Have courage to go for your dreams and always believe in yourself.
Like the horse,
You too will find a way to get over any obstacles which may be put in front of you.
Like the horse,
You too will find a way to get over any obstacles which may be put in front of you.
The horse whinnies,
Letting you know that he believes in you.
Out of the corner of your eye you see a small brown donkey coming out of the barn.
She almost skips as she trots over to you.
The donkey is only tiny and you have to bend to reach her through the bars of the gate.
Her fur feels rough as you pet her,
But the love you receive from her is warm and gentle.
The message she sends to you is to work hard and be determined to manifest your dreams and goals.
And as you journey through life,
Always be kind to yourself and to others.
A chicken flies over and settles on the gate.
Chickens are full of curiosity and very social creatures.
The chicken nods to the other animals and then tells you her secret.
Don't waste time doing nothing.
Instead,
Create the need for action through curiosity and self-belief.
You won't know if something is for you until you give it a try.
A goat comes up behind you and gently nudges you to get your attention.
You realize that the nudge is what you need to get yourself moving.
The goat wants to inspire you to believe in yourself and become more determined in life.
Goats like to have fun and this goat says to make sure you have lots of fun every day.
You take a moment to look up into the blue sky,
Thankful for all the inspiring words you have heard.
But your thoughts are distracted as you hear the sound of the birds singing.
Looking back around you,
You see you are once again standing alone in the farmyard.
And all seems quiet on the farm.
With a happy heart and a feeling of contentment with your life,
It is time to end this meditation.
Take a breath in as you wiggle your toes and fingers.
As you wiggle your toes and fingers.
And as you breathe out,
Gently open your eyes.
Notice how you are feeling.
You should feel happy and inspired by all the amazing messages you have received.
Use this positive energy as you go about your day,
Knowing that you can return to this meditation at any time.
Thank you for meditating with me.
Before you go,
I would like to ask you a question.
Which is your favorite farm animal and why?
Thank you for taking this journey with me.
In the comments,
Let me know how this meditation has helped you today.
Bye for now.

A chicken! Amazing I love it. Story Time! The Little Snowflake. Part 5. Ocean was bored and had nothing to do. She decided to sing a little tune. " Fa-La-La-La-La." Sung Ocean. " Grrrrrrrr." Growled a near by creature. The animal pounced right onto of her. Ocean screamed " Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Gey off of me!" The creature looked under its paw and said " Huh? Where are you and what are you?" Ocean looked up and said " I'm a snowflake and you I am under you're paw. My names Ocean." The creature was a huge white tiger. It said " My names Ariana." The two chatted for a while then Ariana said " I am very sad at the moment because just last week me and my sister went hunting then we became hunted by humans. It shot my sister with a gun and took her away. I was so scared that I ran away ad fast as possible." Ocean said " Oh no! That is terrible! I'm So sorry that happened to you." Ariana said " Thank you. I have to go now. Bye!" And she ran of. She soon disappeared in the distance snow.

My son loves your stories, today was the first time he's listened to a meditation and he absolutely loved this too! He moved his hands to stroke the animals and had his eyes closed for most of it. He usually doesn't sit or lay still. Thanks so much!
