My name's Karen Lee and I'm the founder of The Coming Whole.
Just take a moment to find a comfortable seated position and we'll do a little coming to our senses.
So just notice your body and how it's supported by the seat that you're sitting on.
Notice the clothing on your skin.
Notice your feet where they touch the ground.
If you're wearing shoes or socks,
Notice you're feeding them.
Notice the texture of your clothing.
Notice how it feels on your skin.
Notice how it moves as you breathe.
And now what can you hear?
What do you notice?
Sounds far away.
Sounds close by.
Perhaps you may notice the absence of sound and the space between it.
And now just notice the taste in your mouth.
What can you taste?
Notice any moisture in your mouth.
Notice your tongue and your teeth.
And now notice any scents.
Do you smell any scent?
Or perhaps you notice the absence of a scent.
Perhaps you can notice your breath as it brushes past your nose as you breathe.
And now behind closed eyes,
What do you notice?
What can you see behind closed eyes?
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
