My mom was quite a strong personality,
But she felt hopeless and helpless underneath.
And I see this in many of my contemporaries,
That their brothers felt this way too.
Now,
When I was 19,
I got a very kind of loose,
Pretty dress that was a little bit hippie,
That had flowers all over it.
And my mom was quite upset with me because she'd rather have seen me in a power suit.
She didn't like the vulnerability.
She didn't like female vulnerability,
So she didn't like me in this outfit.
It was too vulnerable.
I think this is how we women are socialized,
Really,
Away from our feminine nature because it's considered too vulnerable.
And in the West,
Where things are pretty oriented toward the male aspect of the human polarity,
The feminine energy can seem to get squished.
Now,
I think this is why women are actually going to start turning to God.
Because right now,
We're being socialized not to be in our true energy.
We're expected to have careers,
Raise kids,
Stay beautiful,
Be nice,
Have skin that's not wrinkled.
And I just think it's getting to a breaking point and that women are finally going to realize how unfulfilled they are and how skewed things are.
And I feel they're really going to start turning to all that is,
To that what created them.
And when the feminine turns to God,
Then more light and love will come to this planet.
The vulnerability or the risk will be that the first thing that will come up is female rage at what's happened to our true nature.
But hopefully,
We'll move through that really quickly and get onto compassion.
Because when a woman gets onto the truth and starts bringing in her true energy,
Then the next challenge is to be very patient with the people around her to help them do this.
And it can be easy to get angry actually when somebody's having trouble making a shift,
When someone's own stuff comes up.
So I think women are going to have to learn how to be really patient and help,
First of all,
Get the knowledge ourselves and then help all those around us get it.
Because a Hawaiian shaman said to me once,
If a woman is awake,
Everybody around her in the family is awake.
If the man is awake,
It's just the man who is awake.
So when women wake up,
It really spreads.
So may this happen.
