This video is about loving yourself and self-acceptance and I want to give you an illustration of what we do to ourselves.
So once,
Years ago,
I was working with a woman who felt inside that she wanted to run.
So I said,
Well,
Let's just work with that.
Like,
Let's just start there.
And it was impossible for her to start there.
She was doing everything other than just accepting her state of wanting to run.
But in fact,
She felt like that a lot of the time,
Because in fact,
She was running from her deeper intuition and the deeper proddings of her soul,
So she would chronically feel inside sort of a restless running.
So,
You know,
I was speaking to her,
I said,
Like,
Well,
Let's just,
Let's just,
You know,
Accept,
Embrace the fact you want to run.
Well,
You know,
We worked really hard.
Like 25 minutes later,
And she got it.
She got it,
That she was okay as she was.
You know,
It's okay to be a human being who's restless and wants to run.
And it's okay if that's the chronic state.
I mean,
The first step is,
You know,
Embracing and acceptance.
It's just the truth of things.
And when she accepted it,
It shifted into realized that it was okay.
She had a big heart expansion.
That's why this work is,
It's a lot like motherhood,
It's kind of spiritual motherhood.
It's mothering people into it.
You know,
We're all gods in human form.
And most of us are scared of it,
Or scared of that.
We have egos built on our fear of actually how infinitely loving and powerful we are.
But it's all healable.
It's all healable.
