The Huge Cost of Being 95% Stuck In Our Heads

Just as we might witness a child's future being blighted by the way they are being parented, our own lives have been distorted by the Western culture's emphasis on the intellect and its neglect of the wisdom of the heart. Even though the heart has neurons of its own, even our attempts to fix our problems often come from the labyrinth of the mind. This is why they are often so complex, expensive, and don't work well! We really need to return to the wisdom of the heart, both individually and collectively.
