Silence Within

The more you are focused on it, the more you are serving it." Premasudha reminds us that it is a really deep decision to continue to steer towards the Creator in every moment. She also gives us great Grace here by reminding us that the Soul will let us know when we are on the right track.

The main thing you guys that you need to do is talk to the creator. Talk to Amma. If you notice what you do is your minds you get very busy going around in your minds and you you're not focused on the creator. It is the number of moments in your life where you are steering your attention directly to the creator that says whether your journey is a fast or slow one. Do you understand really? The more you're focused on it the more you're serving it. So the non-dualists talk about the silence within. So you serve the silence within. You do everything in reference to the silence within. You steer your consciousness to the silence within. That is the creator. You pose questions to the silence within. Shall I do this or shall I do that? And then you wait and you listen. It is that really deep decision to steer towards the creator and talk to the creator in everything you do. But that creator is the silence in your own heart so it will let you know if you're on the right track or not. When you feel more peaceful and more spacious you've made a shift into truth. And remember with every shift into truth the ego will get angry and will work hard to get you back into the playpen of the ego consciousness. That silence in you will be strengthened. You'll feel it being strengthened by some things you do. And you'll feel it being weakened by some things that you do.

Yes I feel the silence as expansiveness as well. That's so true what you say about the amount of spaciousness you feel depends on your actions. I call it an energy collapse. It's like there is infinite spaciousness within the inner sphere and infinite spaciousness without and I'm in this beautiful open field of energy that almost suspends me in midair and then perhaps I'll take some actions the distract me from that silence and then it's like all of that spaciousness just collapses like a ceiling falling to the floor and I find myself very confined and crowded because of the lack of spaciousness. I'm glad you described that in the way you did to give me a bigger perspective on that particular experience. When I first started noticing the energy collapse it felt almost like it came from external sources or reasons but more and more of course I can have the perspective that allows me to see it's my quality of presence within the silence that creates the experience of spaciousness or contraction
