I know it's a confusing time with a lot of polarization,
But this might help simplify things.
If you see that character is destiny,
And somebody wise said it,
I can't remember who it was who said it,
But it is so true.
It's the principles like,
You know,
If somebody has good business practices,
The business lasts a long time,
And people have a good feeling about it,
And it's just kind of a blessing.
Same with our characters.
If we have good characters,
You know,
Even if progress seems slow,
Eventually we'll triumph.
Yeah,
It truly is our destiny.
Shortcuts don't work.
I'll tell you,
Any time that I have done anything that was less than honorable,
I regretted it,
And it didn't work.
Any time actually I lied and tried to build on that,
It didn't work.
Even if I didn't know I was lying,
It was like an inner delusion.
I was deluding myself.
It didn't work.
Yeah,
Having a good character means just a kind of a constructive attitude.
It's like really at an extreme,
It becomes a serving all of life.
But you don't even have to do that.
Just kind of remembering that everybody's human just like you,
And everybody has pain just like you,
And that maybe you don't want to add to anybody's pain unnecessarily,
Because you know,
Sometimes people,
They're really just holding on by a thread,
And a bit of random unkindness just maybe makes a load too big.
So yeah,
This is just an encouragement to,
You know,
Be good to other people as much as you can,
And be good to yourself,
And just be constructive as much as you can.
And the results of this are good karma.
And you know,
Just as the,
If you throw a rock into the water,
All the rings leave,
They go outward from the rock,
But underneath all the rings return to the rock.
And that's how karma works,
And it's inexorable.
It will return to us.
So just,
You know,
Do your best.
Be constructive as possible.
Love and forgive yourself and others as much as possible.
Okay,
Bless your hearts.
