This is probably one of the most important videos that I've made.
It's about the wisdom that's inside you.
It's this eternal,
Infinitely wise,
Infinitely knowledgeable,
Infinitely powerful,
Love-powerful,
Powerful energy.
And really you're made out of it,
But I can imagine it doesn't feel like it often,
But you can also tap into it,
Feel it,
Experience it,
Make room for it,
Because that's the secret,
Is making room for it,
Because realistically in our very ordered lives,
This huge intelligence that is inside us,
That we are really,
Is often really inconvenient,
Because it just doesn't fit.
It's just too big.
It disrupts our smaller lives.
It disrupts,
Could disrupt our conventions even.
So this is a rub,
But the thing is,
If you're ever in real trouble,
You know,
Through trauma or you know,
Just,
I don't know,
Whatever you're walking through,
If you listen carefully,
You'll hear your wisdom,
You'll feel it.
You will feel like,
You know,
A rock,
A staple rock,
Really,
Which I'm sure is,
You know,
Reflected in Christ saying,
You know,
Don't build your house on sand,
Build it on a rock,
Because it feels really solid inside you.
And if you follow it,
Things will work out,
Even though it seems like,
How could they?
Often it gives a wisdom that is sort of,
I don't know how to explain it,
For me it would feel like two miles away inside me from like,
Just very far away,
But it felt really stable and I could feel what it was saying was true,
Because I would feel my body kind of relax around it.
So I'm,
You know,
I'm big on giving examples for my life so that to help the journey be lived.
So once,
You know,
When I was having real trouble in my thirties,
My mom said to me that she,
Why didn't she get a house,
I mean houses were a lot cheaper than,
And we could live together,
And you know,
With the boys and me,
And she'd help me with the boys.
Well I knew,
Like,
I mean,
It became very clear to me as I listened that what would happen is it would start off with her helping me,
But it would very quickly turn into,
I had the feeling of six months,
A year,
Me taking care of her plus my boys.
I just knew it was going to go that way.
So that was my wisdom.
And bless her heart,
It was,
She wasn't aware of how her ego was steering this,
And you know,
It was for me to like stand on my own two feet and find my own way,
And bless her heart for having the kindness,
But I'm really glad I listened to my wisdom.
This is my point.
So it's way safer,
Even though it can feel scary to trust it,
But it's much safer to follow it.
And there's kind of a feeling of a clarity,
A deep knowing.
Yeah.
I also want to talk,
Which is connected to this,
You know,
When we follow our wisdom,
What will happen is,
You know,
The ego will fuss and fear will come up and say,
Oh,
Like,
Say in my example,
Like would have said,
Oh,
Go live with your mom,
Like that will,
You'll be safe that way.
But,
You know,
And it did,
It did come up,
But I kept hearing this deeper wisdom of what I knew would happen.
So I didn't listen to my fear,
I didn't buy into my fear.
And that is really one of the big secrets to learning how to live well,
Is learning how to just not buy into your fear and it's,
You know,
It's hard when,
It's harder,
You know,
When certainly in Canada,
People's fears are coming up with COVID and,
You know,
Various things.
But still,
Even no matter what the collective is doing,
You can take care of your own inner ecology and your own emotional climate.
And you can find your own way no matter what.
I mean,
Your soul's invincible,
So your soul will take care of you.
