You are a divine being who is just perfect,

And you're here on the earth,

And you've joined the actor's equity,

And you're playing a part of who you think you,

Of who you've been conditioned to be.

You're this actor,

And when the actor starts waking up,

He no longer has to belong to the actor union.

He realizes he doesn't have to do this anymore.

Really?

Really,

This is it?

You're playing a part,

And it's like there's a moment where you go like,

I don't have to be a member of the actor's equity anymore,

The actor's union.

I don't have to do this anymore.

It's that.

And from that,

You build,

You start really moving into truth.

But you see,

Most of the actors on the stage,

What we're doing is,

Whatever part we're playing,

Oh,

I've got to fix this part.

I've got to fix it and become a perfect part.

It's got to turn into a perfect part.

It's not possible.

You can't play this part perfectly.

You're always going to make a mess.

If you stay in your ego,

You're always going to make a mess.

It's never going to be okay.

Doesn't matter what you do.

If all your dreams come true,

You become a billionaire,

Then you find in your last years how much unhappiness wealth produces.

All you have to do is have a few gray hairs and read about these wealthy people and what happens to them over decades.

It's just always a tragedy.

It's always disappointment.

Yeah,

We see these stories all the time.

So today,

As a member of the actor's union,

You're awakening.

You don't have to do this anymore.

And sometimes our part is,

We're a perfect spiritual seeker.

Or I'm following Amma.

But we're still doing it in the actor's equity.

We haven't woken up yet to,

I don't have to do this anymore.

I'm a divine being.

Even Amma's a divine being.

Amma's here to remind me that I'm a divine being.

I actually dreamed Amma into existence.

This life to come to awaken me.

This is the truth,

You guys,

At the highest levels.

I mean,

Really,

This is the truth.

Individually,

We would have all dreamed,

For all the people who know Amma,

We would have all dreamed from other lifetimes.

Our desire to awaken was so strong that we manifested a figure like Amma in this life for us to meet,

To awaken us.

And the thing is,

You know,

The real joke is that our lives change when our mind changes.

Okay,

Really get this.

It's like,

I've said this many times,

A woman gives birth,

Suddenly she's a mother,

She's a completely different person.

What happens in the journey is we change our mind about things.

And so our lives change.

So for many years,

I was wanting to be really enlightened,

But I felt really like how impossible that was.

How flawed and what a mess I was.

And so this is what I manifested along the way.

And even as,

You know,

More and more light gradually came in,

And even my circumstances got better.

When you change your mind about yourself and everybody else,

Your life will change.

And it can happen almost overnight.

And just think that you're on stage,

And I'm calling from the audience going,

Hey,

This is all make believe.

It's not true.

You're just playing a part.

And I'm calling from the audience,

And I'm shocking everybody.

Right.

You don't have to do this anymore.

You're beautiful the way you are.

Okay.

Absolutely beautiful the way you are.

Sure.

You've got,

There's things you can grow into,

There's misunderstandings you can drop,

There's,

Sure.

But you're still beautiful the way you are.

I don't believe in our having other lives unless it's in the afterlife. I don't believe in this "Alma" or "Amma" or whomever I misheard you say with my bilateral hearing loss, but I *do* know what an actor's guild is. ...or "union" as you put it. I'm a terrible, terrible actress but ADMIRE stage & film actors so much. I consider myself an ad lib role player then if I must... but I finally found another 6-min speech of yours here that resonated by listening to what made sense to me - and this time there was more for me to make sense of. I'll try to see things this way. Even actors screw up... that's why there are "bloopers" but they're not recorded in the finale. What matters is pulling yourself away from what's not working and find what could... even if you have a blooper in between. I do believe in God.

I already have made decisions, and re-made them. I have also made bloopers, and I need to remember I don't belong there in the places where I messed up - there's no way to make this right for me. Thank you.
