Hello and welcome to this 5 minute creative reset.

Begin by finding a comfortable seated position.

Your feet will be on the floor and your hands will find a place on your knees.

Imagine there is a string pulling your head up and pulling your spine nice and long.

When you are ready,

Let your eyes gently close.

Or if you are new to meditation,

You may find a spot on the floor and soften your gaze.

Inhale completely and exhale deeply.

Notice where you feel the breath in your body.

Now find your comfortable breath.

I invite you to imagine you are walking through the woods,

Surrounded by trees,

With the gentle sounds of nature.

Ahead of you,

You can see a clearing.

Continue walking toward it.

As you emerge the clearing,

Feel the sunlight as it touches your body.

Now look up at the sky.

Notice the clouds.

Are your clouds thin and wispy or are they fluffy and light?

As thoughts come across your mind,

Gently place one on each of these clouds.

Whether your thoughts are negative or positive or neutral,

Find a cloud and place your thought on that cloud.

Imagine that there is a wind that is gently guiding those clouds across the sky.

Observe those clouds as they pass by,

Carrying your thoughts away.

As new thoughts come into your head,

Place them on those clouds.

If you have no new thoughts,

Simply watch as the wind carries the clouds across the sky.

When you are ready,

Begin to find gentle movement in the fingers and the toes.

If your eyes were closed,

They may gently flutter open.

Notice your breath.

As you return to your day,

Remember that you can come back to this place and watch the clouds anytime you need to.
