She leverages her background leading high-performing media teams to promote well being inside and outside the workplace, speaking to audiences that include women in technology, veterinary professionals, and corporate innovators. Portia’s journey with yoga therapy began when her mother was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Her mother’s neurologist recommended yoga to help support her condition. As a yoga teacher, Portia passionately pursued yoga therapy certification to learn to safely support her mother with the tools yoga offers. Portia currently works with clients who are living with conditions that include Multiple Sclerosis, excessive kyphosis, sacroiliac issues, and anxiety. Working as a yoga therapist has enriched her life and has ignited her calling to make yoga accessible to everyone.
