Good morning,

Welcome to this guided morning meditation.

Each new morning is a symbol of a new day ahead,

A new fresh set of opportunities that we have been gifted with.

So let's take a little time this morning to cultivate our gratitude and set our intentions for this new day.

Let's start by taking a nice deep breath in,

Let's do that one more time,

And as you breathe in,

Let your eyes close gently,

And now just follow your breath's natural rhythm in and back out,

Just watching it as it flows.

And now as we follow our breath's natural rhythm,

Allowing it,

Watching it as it flows in and flows back out,

Let's take a few moments to ask ourselves,

What am I grateful for?

Let's say it,

Say it out loud to yourself,

What am I grateful for?

And maybe say it out loud one more time,

What am I grateful for?

And continue to repeat the question in your head silently to yourself,

While we just float with our breath for a few minutes,

And during this time let's consider all that we have to be grateful for,

All that we have been given,

Any of the good things and opportunities that this new day brings,

Bring it all to the front of your mind and let's take stock of it,

And now hopefully by now,

You've been able to compile a few things,

Think of some few things that you feel some gratitude towards,

Hopefully some of life's gifts have come to the front of your mind,

You've thought about all of those precious moments,

Those positive experiences that you've had,

Our lives are precious and are full of gifts,

And some are small and maybe easy to take for granted,

But others are large and much more apparent,

But at the end of the day,

All of these gifts are worth celebrating,

There's so much to be grateful for.

Now before we close,

Let's take a moment to set an intention for the day,

It could be something small and simple,

A word,

A phrase,

Or an idea,

Just something for today,

Just something for your day to carry with you for the rest of the day,

And when you have that intention set into your mind,

Take a slow,

Deep breath in,

And invite that intention into your heart where it can settle in and grow,

Allow it to materialize there,

Taking root in every fiber of your being,

And then as you exhale,

Let it all go,

Flow it all back out into the universe,

And it will be so.

Thank you for your time this morning,

I hope you have an amazing day,

Full of gratitude and light,

Let's take one more deep breath in,

And out to release the practice,

The light in me honors the light in you.
