Transcript

Take a few moments to find a comfortable position,

Perhaps lying on a bed or a sofa or on a mat on the floor.

Take a couple of deep breaths in and let it all out.

And again.

Let your body sink in to the floor below you or your mattress or sofa so that you feel completely relaxed.

I invite you to close your eyes.

I want you to imagine a colour associated with warmth and comfort and relaxation.

Whatever colour comes to mind,

You gradually notice that this colour is entering your body through your feet.

It's climbing up your toes,

Along the soles of your feet and the front of your feet and around your ankles.

And this colour has a warmth and a comfort associated with it.

Gradually it starts to climb up to your knees,

Along your shins,

Around your calf muscles and behind your knees,

Seeping up through your calf muscles to your waistline.

So now the whole bottom half of your body is surrounded by this warm,

Supportive,

Luscious colour.

It slowly climbs up your spine,

Vertebrae by vertebrae,

Across your whole back and over your shoulders.

It slowly climbs down your arms,

Around your elbows and into the palm of each hand.

You'll also notice it coming round the back of your head and slowly it climbs across your face and you're now completely bathed in this warm,

Supportive,

Luscious colour.

Take a few moments to enjoy bathing in this warmth,

Comfort and relaxation.

Although I wasn’t able to be calm this time I plan to use it again as I feel it will be a favorite of mine as I continue my wellness journey.
