Week 39 everyone.
Are you ready?
We're returning to base camp this week.
That's right.
The very first week.
We started from base camp.
We set the foundation.
And in this week,
Week 39 of this one universal year.
We head back down.
Step into that base camp.
And revisit,
Revitalize,
And remind ourselves from where we set out.
I'll see you there.
Hello AwakendGreative 39 weeks we've been traveling together.
Through the terrain of this one universal year,
We have crossed rivers,
Forged our way through valleys,
Hiked up mountains.
That terrain has looked different for each of us.
We had our own starting point and we have our own journey.
But today.
Here in week 39.
We go back down that mountain.
Reforge that river or head back across that valley.
And meet at base camp.
In week one.
We set a foundation,
The place from which we chose to begin.
For some of you,
It may have been a very effortful,
Conscientious,
And determined setting of foundations.
For others perhaps more intuitive,
More sensory,
In that you had a niggling.
An idea of from where you're going to step,
But no proof.
Sensations can be fraught sometimes with doubt,
Uncertainty,
But when you really sit,
Dig in.
Know that you know that you know that that sensation is something to work from.
You benefit greatly.
I think it's a divine alignment.
When intuition can be heard from that practical,
Conscious,
Intellectual brain.
And let in the room.
Allowed to speak.
In Week 1.
All the way back in January.
I was choosing that as my foundation point,
That first step.
A knowingness,
A sensation.
A suspect,
If you will.
I knew that my base camp was going to change.
The place from which I was walking,
That first step or standing point was going to take on a whole new form by the time I got to year two.
And here we are at week 39,
And I'm imploring you,
Challenging you.
To do as I am.
And see how far you've come.
Returning to base camp.
Is a notion of.
Clearing revisiting so as to redefine.
It's important to take these steps and do this return every once in a while to dreams,
To visions,
To ideas,
To plans.
Goodness to relationships.
To life goals.
Physical health,
Mental well-being,
Heart strength.
We do a great service to ourselves,
Our courage,
Our purpose,
And our impact when we do this revisiting.
That niggling I had in week one.
Perhaps you too.
Or perhaps yours was more practical.
No matter.
That niggling of week one.
Has taken on that practical.
Those initial sensations are now actualized into the world.
Now this is a courageous path,
It's a journey,
Not complete.
Not finished within these 52 weeks.
But certainly firmly set into place.
Creatively because I speak from that initial point of artist.
I've had beautiful exhibits,
Opportunities to show my work in places I hadn't seen in that very first week.
Explorations that have taken me,
And that work,
Into new venues.
New eyes.
The place from which I stand has shifted.
From one house to the other across the compound.
The people I engage with on a daily basis.
Have become all new.
We're not all new.
A few lasting.
Persistent,
Ever-existent faces still exist,
But so much new.
Felt it I suspected it.
And here I am.
It's still foundational.
It's still initial steps because this isn't a one week or one month or one year project.
This is the rest of my life project.
Some of yours might not have been or be that grandiose.
Some purposing and plans and sensations.
Are meant for shorter durations.
Even temporary implications.
Live your truest self.
Revisit that foundation,
That base camp.
Clear away any clutter that is collected.
Pull out the old note from week one,
Where you scribed ideas and dreamed and visioneered.
Wipe off the dust.
Pick up a pen or pencil and scratch through those things that have fallen away and circle and highlight those things that are manifesting.
Redefine.
Reorient.
And step out again.
Refreshed.
Rejuvenated.
Revitalized.
Our quote then,
Our mantra this week is a repeat of week one.
Henry Ward Beecher.
All of the mantras,
All of the quotes are worthy of repetition,
But this one?
A great one to revisit at this point and bring back to consciousness.
Every artist dips their brush in their own soul.
And paints their own nature into their pictures.
You have your brush.
You have your assignment.
You own your agency in this journey.
Go,
Paint your nature.
Awaken creative today
